We've always had a great meal at Sarakh and our latest visit was no exception. The food was delicious, and the waiting staff were very professional. Ash looked after us very well. We're lucky to have such a local gem of a restaurant so close to home.

First time here with my son and definitely will be returning. Food was excellent and well-priced. Ash looked after us well.

I wanted to love this place given the range of dishes but we had awful customer service this Saturday evening. Ordered a delivery for 8pm more than 2 hrs a head. 8.15pm my husband receives a call saying naan oven is broken so can we take parathas instead of 2 naans (no refund offered). Our food turned up at nearly 9pm and the 2 parathas were tiny, flat and very greasy and definitely not worth cost of 2 naans.

Also the peanut and aubergine dish had three tiny half slices of aubergine and no more which was definitely not worth the money.

We were left feeling a bit ripped off having spent £90 with them. There is no email address either as I wanted to complain to them directly.

Maybe the restaurant experience is better but for delivery I’d go elsewhere. This was our first and last time.

I have been to the Sarakh a few times now and the food and service have always been excellent. The restaurant was recommended by several friends. Food is great, the staff are very friendly and attentive too, especially Ash. Highly recommended. Very clean.

This restaurant is my absolute go-to! I’ve been there a bunch of times and every time has been amazing. The food is incredible, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Especially Ash, he’s the best! Because of his awesome service, I’ve even taken my colleagues and friends there for work events and social gatherings, even though I’m based in Luton.

The food was lovely and very authentic. Ash made us feel really welcome and would definitely go back again. You can actually taste the flavours and was not just overpowering with chilli.I was recommended to go there and was not disappointed.

Just returned from having a meal for four, I didn’t expect the same high standard as the London Gymkhana restaurant but the reviews had given me high expectations but sadly we were disappointed, the food was just ok, rice that had sat in a bowl to be reheated, my cooked chicken mixed with curry sauce, all very bland.
However it was the rude and neglectful staff that convinced me I won’t be returning .
When we arrived it was already busy and very noisy, difficult to hear each other speak.
Soon after finishing our main meal we were presented with the bill, then seconds later the card machine, we were never offered more drinks, dessert or coffee, when we asked if we could have coffee, it was a no they wanted our table. On leaving the premises we noticed an empty table so we were very confused why it was us being pushed out as other tables that still had the same occupancy as when we arrived were still enjoying their meals.
I’ve never felt so unwelcome.

Decent food but lacking spice ! We have been to this intresting place in Harpenden before and the food was quite palatable but last weekend it was very bland , no spice at all ! We have never had Butter Chicken that is sweet ! All the dishes were totally lacking flavour. Yet it was full ! Avoid until they replace the chef
