Death of our dog due to surgeons failure

Our Labrador underwent surgery at SASH North Ryde but the wound wasnt healing. After excluding other causes we advised surgeon it could be infection. Surgeon said that was not possible and refused to take wound swab for culture. The wound kept breaking open; surgeon just kept doing more surgery to repair it. After 3 weeks of this we got a wound culture and it was multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria, the kind you find in hospitals. The surgeon gave our dog an antibiotic thats known to damage kidneys. The drug manufacturer cautions users to check kidney function frequently to identify any kidney damage early as it can be reversed. The surgeon refused to follow these cautions, and our dog died of kidney failure. This is a clear breach of duty of care. Hospital management terminated our phone call when we asked why the surgeon acted the way he did. Now our family is lost in grief, the surgeon and hospital dont care.
