0* Terrible value for money. Feels like a scam given the £15 ticket cost. Doesn't offer anything you can't get from a decent pub or supermarket. Honorable mention for the cheap white hotdog buns. Waste of time more than anything.

Utter rip off. The 8 of us paid a total of £120 to get into what was effectively a really rubbish bar - overpriced warm cider, the band so loud and poorly mixed that my ears are still ringing the next day, long lines of plastic tables with depressed looking people sat drinking bad cider out of plastic pint pots. I didn’t even see a sausage stand, I think it was hidden out the back near the toilets. We had one pint and got out as soon as we could, went to a lovely pub next door with decent drinks at a decent price and didn’t have to shout just to have a conversation (or pay £15 just to walk in the door!).
Absolute rip off and very disappointing, avoid.

4 stands in total, most of which are selling you pints you can find anywhere. Sausage stand was hidden away in a separate depressing tiny little room. One sausage stand in total with 3 banners on it to give the illusion of choice. The whole thing was an insult. Huge amount paid just for the privilege of standing in a venue while they blast music so loud that you're unable to have a conversation. Left after 20 minutes. The whole thing felt like a scam. They spent more money on the spam emails and promotion than on the actual event and it really shows

I would give this zero stars if I could. £15 to get in, yep literally £15 to walk into the venue, overpriced drinks £6 plus per item, overpriced food £7 for a hotdog with mini roll, shocking amount of drinks on offer too and what they advertise you didn't get at all, will not attend this again, much cheaper to get the same cider from a supermarket, your sausage from the market for the same quality and also save yourself £15 in the process, disappointed and worst event I have ever been too, you can go to the gin and rum festival for the same price if not cheaper with free goodies at the door, can't see this event lasting much longer if this is how they run it.

So we paid £15 to get in. Thinking maybe you get a drink free or something.. no. You pay £15 just to be able to attend. There was one sausage stall with all food costing £7. All drinks costing £7 or upwards. One small cup of coke and vodka cost £10!! They only entertainment was one DJ playing a Spotify playlist and a tribute band playing about 7 songs. It definitely wasn’t worth the money and advertising is very misleading.

"Festival" is a stretch. This is an event designed to maximise the amount made for the organisers. One sausage vendor and two beverage vendors. It's almost like they were charged to be there ;) Food was poor and very expensive. Bread rolls were dry. Drinks were also expensive. For your ticket price you get nothing. It was more like a wedding reception where everyone had paid to be there and the bride and groom didn't show. The band was loud and poor quality. The DJ was good but she may as well have been playing a Spotify playlist. The venue wasn't suitable and was like something out of the Shining. It was dated and presumably picked because it was cheap. Definitely not a "festival".

Telford event, 9th September. One of the groups didn't play and the organisers couldn't be bothered to tell the crowd why for nearly 2 hours then lied about the situation.
£6.00 for a small can of beer, £3 for a small of lemonade. The free water refills promised were not available.
And to top it all I was physically manhandled by the over-zealous security for attempting to leave the site with my coke which they ripped out of my hand and threw away.
Utter shambles and would never go again

Extortionate prices £6.50 for a can of cider/beer every can was opened by the bar staff as inform it could be used as a missile!!! Fair enough but the drinks trays given were made of compressed cardboard and they fell through!!! Expensive Food was tiny portions… one band (killers tribute) didnt play as informed by over loud speak they had other commitments but on the Cider & sausage festival today the weather was to blame?????

In terms of the overall fun with friends and music I can not fault this festival however we were not impressed with the way it was so restrictive! We would not return.
No food or drink allowed so they have you trapped to pay Incredibly high prices for never very good food!
Sausage and coder festival to me would mean loads of different sausages an ciders, sausages were around in different flavours but the cider had only 2 flavours and sold out before the night had finished! I offered to get my daughter an ice cream from the van…. £6 day light robbery! £6.50 for a 300ml can of beer! My daughter had played football in 30c before the festival and had popped a bag of crisps in her pocket Id not even given it a 2nd thought but nope security saw it and made her out in the bin! I asked if I could leave to go get tampons from car and was told if you leave you can not come back in! Just a real shame

The band we wanted to watch never showed, the food and drink was astronomical and when some music finally came on after 3 hours of waiting, they were shocking. Poor range of vendors, overall a very expensive and disappointing day/evening

Great bands everything about it otherwise was just a big disappointment and rip off can of cheap beer or cider £6 £6 for frozen chips not family friendly because of overpriced food and drinks no cheaper alternatives the toilets were the only other thing that wasn't a disappointment not really any queues probably because the drinks were so expensive really shame as I thought the music was great and I'm a seasoned festival attender not family friendly with the overpriced food and drinks

Going to a festival sold on the precept of there being sausages and cider as a main selling point brings forth images of artisan craftsmen, skilled in the arcane arts of #1 Making sausages or #2 Making cider, so for a festival to utterly fail on one of the main points (cider) leads to questions....do we consider mass produced, canned cider to be worthy of such an event? Could the organisers not find more than one specialist cider maker to attend and who failed to buy enough stock to last the length of the event?

Add to this the fact that the area set aside for the event was not big enough for the crowd turning up (ticketed event so they had set limits I presume) and you have abject misery.

Even though, in our case, the tickets themselves were free we let feeling relief that no re-entry was allowed.

In short, don't bother.

We arrived at 5pm to find no actual/real cider in the main bars apart from various disgusting non apple (passion fruit - lime and strawberry, etc😩 ) The queue for the small craft cider was around the block - various members of our party queued for over an hour for very average sausages (Luke warm and small) and good Churros - music was generally okay for what it was (primarily cover bands) - We could have gone to a proper music festival (and do) - the only real attraction here was the concept of good cider and sausages which as outlined was not available

We went to the Cambridge festival last weekend for our first ever time and had such an amazing day - I was so apprehensive because of the bad reviews but I needn’t have worried. I think these events are all what you make of it - ciders £6ish a pint which personally I think is expected for an event like this, no different to any other festival! The tributes were great, if you are going I would recommend bringing chairs or a picnic blanket and something to shade you if it’s hot.

Food was, again, priced as you would expect for something like this. Chubbies were great with their sausage & chips boxes for £10, definitely felt worth the money! Lots of non-sausage and non-cider options around. There were loads of toilets so no need to queue and other than a lack of toilet paper towards the end, I can’t complain about them!

All in all a really fun day out, it’s only going to be as good as you make it! Will be going next year for sure :)

Not impressed at ALL.
All the ciders were nice but very average with lots of the same flavours available throughout the all of the stalls. Nothing artisan available. All pints costing £6 minimum.
The generic bars were ridiculous, overstaffed, making you walk round and round and round in circles to get to the front. £16.50 for 2 small red wines and a can of pop. No still water available at one point (there were a few crates on show, but they were only for the staff) although I did get a bottle from one of the cider stands. Prosecco was being served in small plastic bowls full to the brim, a little flat & warm due to it all being pre poured. This cost £14.
I only had one hot dog which was £6.50. It was served in a very small (half the size of the sausage) cheap white roll which I thought was a bit basic. The sausage itself was 'alright'... Nothing special.
No shade to sit in, nowhere to shelter from the rain either unless you used the silent disco.....Silent disco... Lol.
There were two stalls only. One selling practical stuff like fans and hats and glow sticks and another tiny one selling kids clothes. So unfortunately the only thing to do was walk round in circles all day.
There were lots of loos so no queuing which was great and they were kept clean.
The tribute bands were good but not sure if the stage needed to be that big for the small amount of people there. I feel the money would have been better spent on two/three separate more intimate areas.
The layout was also just your generic boring circle adding to the goldfish bowl effect.
We decided that we would go to the shop to get a couple of things I needed for something to do but we were told we could not come back in once we had left. This is not OK. What if the things I needed were medication or tampons? We decided to leave at that point.

£35 tickets, £80 food drinks, £25 travel costs. Total £140.

I've been to free events better than this where you can come and go as you please.. Also improve the cider and the sausages!

Do not be put off by all the negative reviews.
We went to Hemel yesterday and had a bloody great day out! The music was great, lots of food and drinks on offer and reasonably priced.
Everything was spotless and no queues for the loos!
The kids loved the kids tent and silent disco.
Next year we are having an adults only day so we can really enjoy it!

Resonable value for money for the day featuring the concert and the bands that were performing (I would not say good value) but the vending side was attrocious, minimum package for a drink £36 gives you six drinks of various ciders or larger/beer + £3 for a cup to drink it out of. If you want one beer because of driving forget it. The food was even worse, Fish and Chips Med Portion £15, Saugsage hot dog with relish £9, Hamburger £10 with chips £14, Garlic Bread 5 small slices £5 absolute disgrace. I could name venders who should be ashamed of themselves for just trying to rip people off. Never again. Explotation at it worse

3rd time we have been now, 1st being when it first started and tbh, it's only slightly better than a free event you typically have in your local town.

* Overpriced food. Never thought I'd regard a HotDog for £10 as a bargain
* £12 for a chinese that was basically egg noodles with too much curry powder
* Ice Cream man seemed like decent value but then you realised they'd shrunk everything
* No Drinks available at any stall
* Too Expensive, cost over £100 for 2 Adults and 2 Children
* Jurassic Theme was basically one small tent with some dinosaur puppets in there. Where was the big song and dance about it? Marketing made you think it was going to be a dinosaur extravaganza
* Not really a family festival anymore. Thankfully my kids are older now.
* Low key, very low key

The only saving grace was the 2nd area which at least had some pumping music with a Black Keys tribute and Rage Against the Machine.

When we first went and indeed the second time, there was Donkeys, there was Monster Trucks, there was pig racing...a proper festival of off the cuff things, but this time it was just meh.
Walked away with the distinct impression I'd been well and truly fleeced if I'm being honest and won't be attending again.

A que for an hour for drinking water is inhumane in 30 degree heat.
£5 for hook a duck.
3 small bags of sweets to try to keep the kids happy £18.
Refusal of all food an drinks on arrival criminal.
Food vans not allowed to sell cold drinks by management.

You have to que for cash tokens ,to then que over an hour for a cider to find they run out of cider so you get a can.

Didnt see a single person eating a sausage.

Binned after a couple of hours to rush home and share this review.

Not a festival in anyway shape or form .
More a dictatorship where they heard you in and force you to follow their rules.

I WILL ADVISE ALL FESTIVAL GOERS AVOID THIS OR BE DISGUSTED, SKINT ,SOBER AND HUNGRY. AND ANY OTHER FESTIVAL RUN BY THESE RIP OFF CLOWNS.

Payed £75 for a camper pitch with 8 toilets on the whole site! And absolutely filled with s*#t at 5pm on Friday, not even positioned in the middle of the site,, miles away at one end.
Queuing an hour for a £7.50 pint because there’s 4 people serving at the only bar at a festival!!!!!!!
1 hour queuing to get in to the festival as they had two people to search everyone’s bag.
Proper cheaped out.
