We make every single frame to order. We use century-old machines and techniques to shape, bend, and press 18 karat rolled gold into classic, timeless shapes that have featured in Indiana Jones and Harry Potter, and have been worn by Queen Elisabeth II, Steve Jobs, John Lennon, and many others. Almost every frame has a wide variety of options for eye size, bridge width, temple length, colour, and finish. We can even make unique one-offs. This is bespoke eyewear at its finest.

Daniele Morelli made this transaction easy. The selection has changed since my last purchase a few years ago. I found what I wanted on the Savile Row website, then Daniele helped with size and the actual ordering process. I love these new frames.

the quality of the frames remains unmatched. Their customer service was exemplary when some difficulty with shipping was encountered. The results of their efforts from my perspective were such that I was left with an impression of only a trivial problem easily solved. I remain impressed with this company.

I’m a nerdy, lifelong fan of Indiana jones, so much so that the film played a not insignificant part of the inspiration behind pursuing a career in film. All this is to say I’ve always wanted the legendary glasses my tweedy hero wore in between adventures ever since I was a wee one. So, i finally took the leap and ordered the Beaufort Golds - albeit a little bit trepidatiously. I couldn’t try them on, of course, and whilst they aren’t the most expensive glasses I’ve owned, they certainly aren’t cheap. But nonetheless I ordered.
They came promptly. Surprisingly promptly. I nervously unboxed them, trying to temper my expectations. Then there they were. Exactly as I imagined them. I took a brief moment to admire the tortoiseshell and gold and silver cable temples before gently slipping them over my ears…
Welp, I don’t think I’ll ever have another go-to pair of glasses again. They’re that good. so well-made, so beautiful, the fit is near miraculous for my face shape - overly square jaw, a bit of a long face, and prominent cheekbones, which make some glasses push out and down over my nose. No such problem here. the comfort, the way the nose pads rest on the bridge required no adjusting despite having broken my nose a couple times in sport. I apologize for gushing here in such a childish way, but things this nice are so few and far between that they deserve praise lavished upon them.
My only worry is that the cable temples might warp over time from use, but I still wouldn’t exchange them for hockey sticks even if it knocked a few hundred off the price.
So, here’s my final thought: buy them. Try them on. See the craftsmanship and how classically cool you look. And when you’re confronted by Germans desperate to take you out soon after, you’ll be fully prepped.
Thank you to Savile row. FWIW you’ve gained a lifelong customer.
Hi Savile Row,
I noticed that you’d asked for my contact info. I’d be happy to provide it. (apologies, I’ve been away.) If you leave your contact, I’ll email.

I recently purchased a pair of eyeglass frames from Savile Row. Through an exchange of several emails, the owner, Daniele Morelli, expertly and patiently assisted me in selecting the correct size and style. The eyeglass frames are beautifully made. I was extremely impressed by and pleased with my experience with Savile Row.

I ordered the Beaufort Gold and Palladium models. Customer service was excellent, always ready to give advice and information, with all my emails answered promptly. On delivery the frames were not the right fit for my face. Return was immediately arranged and new frames ordered, after further discussion on measurements. New frames arrived, with non-standard custom measurements, and fit perfectly. Strength, craftsmanship and quality is like no other glasses I've worn. These will last a very long time and the style is timeless. Be assured that the long wait for your spectacles is because your frames are being handmade to order and waiting for something special is part of the experience of being an owner of this fine brand.

Savile Row was a great company which offered fantastic customer service both at the point of purchase and with aftercare. They replaced a broken spring arm free of charge, and as the colour of the tortoishell was slightly different they recovered the the frames gratis as well!
But beware, they have now been bought out by a company which has moved production to Italy, and when I contacted them they told me that they no longer do repairs! You're on your own I'm afraid!
So sad to see such great customer service go down the drain.

Beaufort eyeglasses, non-standard temple length (170mm)
Had to replace my previous pair (Panto Flex) - went with the Beaufort model. Unparalleled quality, worth the wait. No better eyeglasses company in my mind. Thanks, Daniele!

Great glasses , the best I ever had! Nothing commertial- just perfect !
I rung Savile Row Eyewear as a last resort. I bought a pair of Panto frames from what I thought was a reputable opticians but was plagued with problems over the last 2 years; the lenses kept falling out, the acetate rim always came off and then the screws wouldn't tighten. All this time the opticians blamed it on the frames and I was distraught - I had spent all this money on a unique frame which wasn't holding up to what I had expected it to be. I rung up Savile Row and told them of the problems I had and they told me they would fully refurbish the glasses for free! Not only when they turned up were the frames as new, now that I have changed optician, they have proved to be an extremely sturdy pair of glasses as well as being so unique. I could not recommend the costumer service enough and will definitely be purchasing another set of frames in the future. Thank you!
I ordered the Savile Row Panto frame from Frames Direct (my second Savile Row frame) but got the prescription filled by a local optician. This caused some problems the second time around. When I finally went in for the final fitting at my local optician, I noted that the right lens protruded forward relative to the left lens and the right nosepiece appeared longer than the left nosepiece (connecting to the frame). I send the eyewear to Frames Direct and they refused to adjust the frame because I chose to go to a different optician to fill the prescription. Frames Direct shipped the frames back to me. But when I took them to my local optician, they too refused to adjust the frame (because I didn't buy the frame from them) unless I waived responsibility if the frame became damaged during the optician's adjustment.
Finally, in response to my situation, Savile Row offered to take a look at the eyewear and to help me resolve my problem. Savile Row determined that the frame likely became misshapen during the optician's lens installation. Savile Row not only made me an entirely new frame, properly installed the lenses, and even readjusted and returned the original frame as a second pair, but they did so without additional cost.
Thank you, Savile Row! Savile Row is first in its class and I give them the highest rating. (However, after my experience, I'd recommend that future Savile Row eyewear buyers have their prescriptions filled at the same company where they purchase the frame.)

I wasn't having any luck finding the replacement temples I needed in the U.S., so I reached out to this English company via email and expected either no response or an automated reply. Instead, I received a very personal response from Ben who was courteous, helpful and funny. The item I ordered arrived swiftly and I couldn't be more pleased with the company or their products. Support people like these to help make our world the way we would like it to be.
I have nothing but great admiration for the good folks at Savile Row Eyewear!! I live in the USA, and so I had to order my frames over the phone- sight unseen. And what I received, when they arrived, could not have been fit better to my face had I shown up in person!! Thank you very much for such incredible care to both your craft and customer service!!
Sincerely,
PauL
The Savile row eyewear team is simply outstanding! we discussed the details of my requirements, they technically advised me to the perfection and were all extremely pleasant, courteous and efficient.
I can confidently recommend them to anyone looking for excellent product made by excellent people.
Thanks a lot

If you are considering buying new eyewear, try to go to Savile Row Eye-wear website. That's what I did because the Classical Panto-design is not available in Denmark. The eyewear is hand-made, within limits, to your specification.
I got extra temples, click-on sun glasses. And all for a fair price.
The Panto-design is a very old design that goes out of fashion and after a couple of years comes back in.
I've had other glasses in that design, but not the hand-made kind.
So may I recommend Savile Row Eyewear, because of fantastic quality, very good service. When you have send your order they tell you how long it'll take before your order is ready. And Savile Row is spot on.
Go to Savile row and order your new hand-made eyewear today.
Some might think that i work for Savile Row! This is not the case - I'm an Anaesthetist, living in Denmark and a very satisfied customer.
Steffen Mysager,
Denmark.
Fantastic handcrafted products and top quality. Also an excellent and quick customer service in case there is any issue with your order.
These frames are magnificent!
The quality and attention to detail is rare these days.
Ordering was easy, communication throughout the entire process was constant and shipping was fast.
I am more than pleased and my only regret is that I waited so long to order.
Love this company, the people I interacted with and the quality of the frames.
Yes, they are expensive but they are worth every penny and more.
As a side note - when I went to have the lenses made the head of the optical company was called out to see the frames - he had long wanted to see a Savile Row product in person - their reputation precedes.
I had to buy a new set of temples, as my sweat corroded the ones I had. All it took was a simple e-mail, a reply, click a link, and they were ordered, They arrived in the US from the UK in a week. Excellent service, and a classic frame, that is reminiscent of old-world craftsmanship, Savile Row Eyewear is an excellent company to work with.

I live in the Midwest, USA. Ordered beautiful eyeglass frames (Algha Oval with W-bridge in shiny gold). Received very quickly. Fit was as hoped--I love them. 3 months in, I discovered I was among the unfortunate whose face oils discolor the gold. Customer service was excellent. Replied to emails promptly and courteously and answered my numerous questions. Shipped back for inspection and repair. They covered shipping both ways and re-plated the gold, free-of-charge. Frames were back on my face in less than a week! Great product and wonderful customer experience!
Savile Row provides excellent product and service. I wear round, rimless, (Steve Jobs) Savile Row 18kt gold. Steve’s were made in Germany, but mine fit me just right. From the day I put them on, folk noticed and admired my glasses. It wasn’t until I needed a repair that I found out how great Savile Row is. I originally purchased my glasses online in the US. When I needed repair, I was on my own; the online store would not help me. Once Savile Row understood my need and looked over the damage they sent me a new frame and I am wearing my glasses again.
I always wanted to wear round rimless glasses with simple thin ear pieces and nuts and bolts that hold everything together that were popular in the 60’s and 70’s when I was a student at the University of Michigan. It’s an old school style frame, hard-to-find, unique, and stylish. Back then, I was told my prescription was too strong and I would need a frame to properly hold the lens. Fast forward to a few years ago, much older now, I had cataract surgery and most all the vision correction was taken up in the lens implant. One day, in my eye doctor’s office, I saw a photo of Steve Jobs on the cover of Time Magazine wearing “my glasses.” I said, “That’s what I want!” Trouble is, I could not find any place in my town or other cities that sold this style of frame. I did an on-line search with “round, rimless, eyeglass frames” as the search criteria. Looking only at the resulting “images” there they were looking right back at me with (Steve Jobs) in parentheses to confirm the accuracy of the search. I purchased the glasses and later learned that a company in London made the frames and the on-line store in the US had the lenses ground to my prescription. They fit perfectly and provided the transitional strength from close-up to far away that I needed. Needing to change out the lens, my local eyeglass store broke the frame hinge somehow. The online store was no help. I couldn’t find anybody locally to do a repair. That’s when I searched the web to find Savile Row. I found them. They listened to me. They solved the problem. I’m so pleased with their care and service, I am always quick to let people know about them. It’s a great story. Next time I need a pair of glasses or want a second pair of glasses I’m going to deal directly with Savile Row.
