Do NOT use Savvy Book Marketing or SEO Prohub UK. Firstly, they are not based in the UK and they are not registered at Companies House. They have not adhered to the contract I had with them. They told me the contract was written by a person who had now left the company so wasn't relevant - clearly they will say anything to wriggle out of their responsibilities. Their work is unprofessional, littered with errors and they will not protect an author - especially a first time author who may not understand the important of book size, font size, spacing, margins and the impact this has on royalties. They changed my book to A4 size without telling me, meaning my royalties would have been, at best, 27p per book. Luckily, I have engaged an independent printer who spotted all the errors and warned me so I could terminate the contract before Savvy did any further damage. I have referred the case to Trading Standards, Action Fraud (for misuse of my credit card), the two credit card companies I used and I intend to take legal action if all monies they have taken are not returned. They have left me almost £2,000 in debt and I have had books printed with ISBNs that now do not belong to me which again is a breach of contract - so I've got to reprint books to the tune of £4,000. I'm substantially out of pocket. DO NOT use this company and do not believe the positive reviews unless you can contact the person direct because I strongly suspect (although I have no proof) that the reviews are from company employees.

The final product was good. Communication with the first formatter was not so good. I;still don’t quite know why, but it meant that time was wasted when it probably didn’t need to be. Helen was a good project manager—always helpful and superbly polite. It was she who moved the project on from a hiatus with the formatter.

My first book is still in the works but the experience has been good so far. just a little slow for me. one way I could see this improving would be to edit the entire manuscript at once and let me return chapters I have read/checked or otherwise approved. I'm not sure if this would work for some or all but it would make a viable option for some I'm sure.

As a life long do it yourself person with a graphics degree, I have designed a concept for the cover art that was deemed as very interesting but, as of yet I have not been in contact with that department. scheduling?

Managed to reach my deadline which was Halloween and my book The Ghosts of Guernsey’s Past was available to purchase on the date I had set. Very helpful thank you Savvy book marketing.

Savvy Book Marketing published my cartoon book. It wasn’t your typical book since there was very little written copy, mostly black & white cartoons. It seemed like a new experience for all of us, so there were a few glitches to be worked out. In spite of all that, the final product is a beautiful book which is lovely to hold and read. Customers at my book launch commented on that aspect, plus the good quality of the paper and binding. There were some delays in production, but again, the final product was worth waiting for.
All staff I dealt with were kind and were doing the best they could, even as we were faced with some technical difficulties. They made every effort to clear up any issue that arose.
I’m very happy with my book and after selling out 150 in a week and a half, I ordered 100 more copies!
