Hi, my name is Nicolai Petersen, I'm 23 years old and from Aarhus. I've realised a turnover of over €20M through my e-commerce stores in the timespan of 2,5 years, and I'm in the process of selling one of my stores for a multiple-million euro valuation. I've done this with no other partners, no experience in e-commerce, no previous experience in running a business or no wealthy parents. I'm not saying this to brag or to feel better than others. But to tell you what the possibilities are with e-commerce if done correctly. In SWE you will learn exactly how to build a truly scalable e-commerce brand from infrastructure, logistics, distributor agreements, customer service, to building an organisation that runs as its own entity without you.

This is a complete scam be really careful!
If your planning on joining SWE, please don’t Nicolai is an absolute fraud. All his service is based on marketing and lying about his services. The strategies proposed are just crap, never worth 4k. Basically the strategy is creating multiple ecommerce brands until something work, while wasting 500 euros on each attempt.
Nicolai has been known for scamming investors in denmark leaving business bankrupt and his associates with debt, there is even a serie about him portraying what happened.
Beware pls of the reviews, it’s really manipulated I have written many and he constantly removed back and forth.
This is really a 0 out of 10, the platform is uselles, the strategies even worse and once you have a problem those guys will never help you, be really careful!
I'm writing this review as a serious…
I'm writing this review as a serious warning to anyone considering joining Nicolai Petersen's "Scaling with E-commerce" program. My experience has been nothing short of a financial nightmare.
It all started when Nicolai Petersen himself began sending me persistent messages on Instagram. He painted a picture of incredible success and promised massive profits if I joined his exclusive team. Convinced by his smooth talk and the seemingly perfect life he portrayed, I made the terrible decision to invest.
That decision cost me over €8000. The program is 100% a scam. The "strategies" are either generic information you can find for free online or completely useless. There is no real support, and the promised results are a complete fantasy.
Do not be fooled by the positive reviews you might see. It is very clear that those 5-star reviews are written by his friends, family, acquaintances, and people who work directly with him. It's a coordinated effort to make the scam look legitimate.
The truth is, Nicolai Petersen is a fraudster who uses these tactics to trick people out of their hard-earned money. He and his team use that money to fund their luxury lifestyles in Dubai. They are con artists, plain and simple.
I have lost a significant amount of money, and I feel completely cheated. Please learn from my massive mistake. DO NOT give this man a single euro. Save your money and your sanity. Stay away from "Scaling with E-commerce" and anyone associated with Nicolai Petersen.
I regret joining – Here’s why
I’ve spent the last months going through the full course content, researching products, talking to suppliers, testing tools, and calculating actual startup costs.
After all this work, it’s clear that the program does not deliver what was promised when I signed up.
1️⃣Unrealistic startup budget
When I joined, I was told I could launch a store with a budget of around €1,000, covering everything from product selection to marketing. But once I calculated the real costs, including import fees, packaging, marketing, 3PL logistics, and supplier terms.
I quickly realized that this wasn’t feasible. I created startup, operational, and cash flow budgets, and it became clear I’d be running at a loss. Without significantly more capital, it’s simply not sustainable.
2️⃣Mentorship ends when you actually need it
Another big issue is the limited mentorship. You only get coaching for the first 3 months. Ironically, the exact period where you’re just starting out and still learning. But it’s after those three months, when you’re ready to launch and actually need expert help (ads, conversion, scaling, problem-solving), that you’re left completely on your own unless you pay extra. That structure feels poorly planned and financially exploitative.
3️⃣No real 1:1 guidance
The course was advertised with 1:1 coaching, but in reality, it’s group calls where each person gets maybe 5–7 minutes, with 15-20 other people waiting in line. As a beginner you don’t always know have type of help you actually need and ask help for it.
When new issues arise as branding, design, financials, marketing. Then you’re referred to third-party services that cost more money.
4️⃣Outdated content and misleading tools
Much of the material is outdated especially parts on Shopify and advertising.
The Alibaba supplier outreach templates are way too simplistic and don’t prepare you for real-life negotiations.
The tools provided (like the COGS calculator and liquidity sheet) don’t reflect the real costs of building and operating an online store. I had to build all my own financial tools to understand what I was actually getting into.
5️⃣ You’re completely on your own and it’s risky
I’ve had to figure out most things myself, and when I’ve reached out to Nicolai, Isho, or Brahim, the responses have been short or non-existent.
At the end of the day, you’re fully responsible for navigating everything yourself.
The course costs €4,000 and after reaching this conclusion, I asked for a refund. I never received a reply and I probably never will.
The course follows a model where you’re told to test demand first: Find a product, set up a store, launch ads, and only order from your supplier after someone places an order.
The problem is that suppliers especially in China require prepayment and minimum orders between 100 - 1000+ (depends on the product). So unless you have money in advance (or take on debt), you’re encouraged to lie to customers and say the product is “out of stock” while they wait 3 months for shipping.
6️⃣Unethical business practices
The course insists on buying cheap products in Alibaba and sell them x3 the price. Where you then risk selling poor quality to unaware customers.
The program is marketed as the closest thing to a PhD, and thats is false. A PhD involves research, depth, and critical thinking. This course barely scratches the surface, and exposes students to real financial risk.
If you’ve seen the documentary about Nicolai (the founder), you’ll know that some of his former businesses went bankrupt shortly after being sold. It was also revealed that he failed to pay VAT and taxes on those sales. Even in the course itself, he admits that when he started, he didn’t care about finances and actually tells students not to worry about the financial side and to just “hire someone later to clean it up.”
Final thoughts
I looked into many product ideas and spent months talking to manufacturers in China, trying to find a good product. But unfortunately, most sellers on Alibaba didn’t answer all my questions, told me to get the certifications myself, or withheld important information. I even checked out options from Europe and the U.S.
But once I added up shipping costs and the high prices for small orders, I realized it wasn’t realistic without a lot of money upfront.
I calculated that it would take at least 3 to 5 years to make a profit when building with small orders. Unless you’re buying cheap, low-quality products, keeping the VAT, and not paying taxes.
This course was setting me up for a financial risk I could not afford, especially as a solo founder.
I have contacted the Norwegian Consumer Council, who confirmed that this is misleading marketing and an undelivered product.
Please think twice before joining. This course is not what it claims to be.
Just spam
I felt absolutely spammed by his emails.
He sent 4 emails a day.
You won't get to anyone by forcing it, my guy, take it easy.
Even after I unsubscribed from the newsletter, he still kept sending me emails.
I got to say that this is the absolute…
I got to say that this is the absolute best course that is out there. Nicolai and his team are doing all they can to help you succeed. And they are very good at it.
I am very grateful for buying the SWE course, and I recommend you do it too!
Great course
I joined the community about a year ago, and overall it's been a positive experience. The course is well-structured and easy to follow, with a clear step-by-step format that makes it easier to take action and actually get started. The community has also been helpful for getting feedback and staying motivated!
Great course
Great course. A lot of value and step by step implementations.
I've been a member for a year now and its still great!
I've been a member for a year now, juggling school while building my e-commerce brand from scratch at my own pace. If you're a perfectionist who keeps procrastinating, this program will help you break through those barriers. The step-by-step guided videos make it easy to get started and take action, no matter where you are in your journey.
The atmosphere is so down-to-earth, making it easy to connect, learn, and grow without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, the live Q&A sessions are a game-changer—if you actively participate, the challenges you face will be solved as Nicolai goes through them with you, providing fixes and valuable feedback. Even just listening and watching others get feedback helps you learn so much.
On top of that, the community that comes with this program is great—supportive and the success updates that is shared are super inspiring. Nicolai and Eisho have created something special, and if you're serious about e-commerce, then I will highly recommend this mentorship!
First sale for e-com store
I joined SWE a couple of months ago to help build my own e-commerce business.
The course has been invaluable, especially in product selection and market fit.
As a DTC marketer, I was impressed with the top-notch ad content and guidance.
While I haven’t scaled yet, I’ve already made my first sale for a high-ticket product. This is proof that the program works if you apply yourself!
The best e-com mentorship program
I recently completed SWE and found it incredibly valuable. The mentorship provided clear, practical strategies for developing an e-com brand and building long-term wealth. The instructors - Nicolai and Eisho are highly knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely invested in our success. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your ecom strategy this class and mentorship program is a great investment for your future!

I had the pleasure of learning a lot…
I had the pleasure of learning a lot from Scaling With Ecom. I work at an agency where I work with Google Ads & meta, and I’ve learned a lot from studying the course SWE offers. I also study at UNI where I could alot of the material for one of my exam papers that gathered around E-commerce.
The live Q&A calls which happen five times a week, are really helpful, especially when there are that many of them every single week. Nicolai is very patient and listens very thorough to the questions, and problems that occur in the learning process.
Very happy about the decision to apply the knowledge of SWE to my work tasks at work, and university.

I highly suggest SWE
I highly suggest SWE, it took me some time to find them, my goal was to find someone I can trust to guide me through out the process of my ecommerce journey. There are a lot of mentors and courses out there, it's hard to know what is real and what is not.
A game changer for me was the Q&A's, you can join them almost everyday and they will help you with any issues you have!
I can honestly say, that it's hard work and long hours in the beginning, don't expect results fast, before you join, gather a list of products you want to sell and generally be fast and use the 4 months wisely!
Regards to Nicolai and Eisho, they have made a great platform, were everything is easily accessible. You can find droppshiping suppliers, ad media creators and many more necessities for your business. What I noticed about Nicolai, is that he's extremely patient with people and even goes in uour shopify dashboard with fix things you struggle with.
But from the different services what exists today, I am glad I put my trust in SWE.

Newbie looking for e-commerce how-to-do setup
Enrolled with SWE to get started with e-commerce. I have no previous knowledge and was a little worried about if I can make this happen. But the entire setup is just so straightforward and help is always near with the community and guys behind it. Deeply involved in the course at the moment, but I'm no longer worried that I will make it - just a matter of time :-)
