Everything shut down…have been using since kickstarter, wonderful performance when traveling and easy to log in.. this trip went to long in, and nothing.

Reset everything and completely unresponsive. So sad if they shut down and the equipment just became expensive paperweights..

It all seems dead, the company and its products.

After a couple of weeks of trying to contact the support group which now zendesk says has been removed, and after trying reinstalls, all of the hundreds of dollars of equipment is non-functional, presumably because they stopped paying for the server connection. HAL TRUAX, VP and Marketing director, seems to have moved on to another company or two or three. Zachary Eyman, the product developer still seems to be at the same company he was working at during the kickstarter campaign. Roger Zhu, hardware and manufacturing, still shows up on linkedin as the CEO.

Lots of hardware is of no use now.

All quit working as with others sometime between june 5 and june 10 2024. Was on vacation.

Same as others posting. The camera system is completely down. I have a backup as well and it does not work. No replies from tech support. I did find the SCENESTEK Facebook page and it is still up. They probably have just decided to let it stay because it's to much trouble to remove.

I’m reading that there are several people within the last few days that have lost any Internet connection and the cameras have stopped working.
I have been trying to communicate with them both email and messaging for the last couple months without any reply.

Now the system apparently has entirely shut down in the last couple days and I’ve tried everything.

-I actually have a second Cube/Router and three new (different version) cameras that also will not allow me to even start setting them up.
It’s like everything is just gone and blanked out where it will not even try to disconnect.

I too have lost access to the hub connecting and the app has no devices listed. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Now I cannot even log in. I bought the system during the Kickstarter campaign in 2021. It would appear they have closed down the service.

My cameras also went out on June 4, 2024- tried all different ways to start back up.
Guess I will now have to look at another company.

Worked great for a couple of years. Today my camera is gone from the app and the cube wont connect to internet.

Since 2 days ago the whole system disappeared. Nothing in the app. Are you experiencing the same thing?

Worked great for about 1 year outdoors,helping to fight a bear problem on our livestock. Out of nowhere software bugs started happening. Left a negative review on google playstore yesterday and today the entire system disapeared on the app and won't reload.
No support, no responses. I'll be contacting my credit card company for help.

This product was ok at the start but not reaching out to the range that was presented….. I now cannot get the camera to show anything live…. and it doesn’t capture motion after 4 months…. They are not holding a charge much more than a month….. I even talked my brother and a friend that purchased these cameras that I’m going to refund them for my stupidity on telling them how awesome this was…… I am so disappointed again with something I purchased on looking at a review on YouTube and getting excited….. I hope this group of scammers or whatever see this and rot in hell……. I hope they got rich and karma catches up with them…… my lesson is to stay with name brand companies and never believe anything that you see on YouTube ……this world is going to crap and that’s why I live in the woods away from people with a big no trespassing sign……

I’ve had zero issues with my secenstek cameras. I bought these based on the projected distances the system could cover and they did not disappoint. These cameras for the money are a great deal.

Seems like majority reviews negative. 900 mhz should penetrate trees far better than 2.4 ghz, so the new 900 frequency cameras should work. I have a 900 mhz point to point transmitter system that travels 3/4 mile through dense tress. To bad this early system doesn’t seem to be working for people. Hopefully company can improve system. Others will follow. I’m hoping 900 mhz systems with recorder for multiple cameras in the works.

Believe the negative reviews; these cameras are pure garbage! I’m so sorry that I wasted my money on these crap cameras! They are indeed horrible! Do Not buy!

The camera's video quality and visual range is quite good.

The cameras get zero stars for sensitivity. They take several seconds to start after sensing movement, and inevitably miss the source of the movement.

Network range is also very poor. The cameras must be very close to the hub.

The system topples over after a power event, with no capacity to self-restart.

This system lacks the core requisites to call itself a security system.

I have had problems with this camera system since I set it up, tried to get help from customer service and still own their camera system that is GARBAGE! I have a camera 25 feet away and it struggles to connect, Nothing good to say about the product or customer service! Dont waste your money!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Backed these through Kickstarter back in 2020 and needless to say NO PRODUCT.

ScenesTek have been great and camera's are good. WIFI range is very very good have had them work aroumd 200m away with obstructions. Definitely looking forward to next releases of camera's. Definitely can see these guys being the next flagship home secuirty camera company.

Cameras are poor quality and crack inside after a short period.
Purchased silicone covers, were then never produced and no refund given. Refund was eventually offered after six months of pestering however the refund never materialised and now a further six months down the line, no refund and no response from customer service or the owner Roger?!!!
Avoid this company at all costs!!
