SCHNUZZLE IS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY there are thousands of reviews online saying this is the biggest waste of money. The dog doesn't even acknowledge it. It can't be an interesting scent to a dog if the dog doesn't acknowledge it. They claim your dog will be entertained and engaged with this so called enrichment toy.

Must love Kongs! These are a great idea and very suitable alternative to Kong and similar products. My dogs don't so this was $120 wasted. I thought the scent factor may be attractive and make a good alternative to shoes, which our puppy loves but no success. And there is no return if they are not for you, which I understand.

My corgi loves his Schnuzzle. he loses interest after i havent changed the disc in months. but when we are out a while ill change it out and he looks like hes zoned out. 😆

I have a scent-driven Kelpie who loves to explore smells during our walks. Living in Sydney with frequent rain at the moment, I was hoping this toy would be a great indoor mental stimulation addition for the days when our walks get cut short by the weather. Unfortunately, like a few other reviews I’ve seen, my dog only engages with the ball for about 90 seconds when a new scent is added, then loses interest completely.
I reached out to Schunuzzle directly, as well as commented on their social media posts, asking for tips on how to better introduce and engage more reluctant dogs with the toy. Sadly, I received no response — even after sending a direct email to customer service. This lack of communication is disappointing, especially since I’ve noticed they often respond to other queries on social media but remain silent on this specific issue that several customers seem to be experiencing.
I think this toy may be better suited for dogs that don’t get adequate outdoor time and can’t distinguish between real and simulated scents, rather than being a supplementary activity for dogs who do.
The shipping and order confirmation process was also slow, and my order only seemed to be fulfilled after I commented on social media — ironically, on one of their “back in stock” posts. It’s unclear why they were promoting the product and offering “shop now” options if stock wasn’t actually available. I’m not a fan of business models that only act on customer reminders.
I don’t recommend this product at all. Put on a raincoat, prioritise finding the time, and take your dog out for a walk — let them smell and explore the real outdoors instead.

My original review is posted above. I got a swift response from Schnuzzle, who contacted me via email. Interestingly, they ignored my original email follow-ups but reached out within hours of leaving a negative review. Schnuzzle is a company that tries to manage the bad reviews after the fact instead of doing far less effort by just avoiding them in the first place. Things go wrong; sometimes, products don't hit the mark for everyone. That is okay. It's how it's dealt with by the company when the customer first brings it up, not weeks later when their only recourse is a bad public review. That is what really matters. The entire exchange was really inappropriate, basically telling me it was a you problem and stating I didn't understand what they were trying to achieve. I understand it's just that in this case, it failed. The entire exchange went on for days and was very blame-orientated on me for not engaging. They also said they usually offered more free scents to give the dog more time to get used to things, but without actually offering any of this free product to me. They were very insistent on their blame narrative instead of letting me move on, putting it down to just a bad purchase. And now, weeks later, I get this AI-generated reply on Trustpilot.

My bully x breed isn't interested in it whatsoever. He's smell and food obsessed and is less interested in this stuff than a normal ball.

I got the family pack and tried dozens of scents – still not interested in any and I think I've tried the entire range. Now, I know that my smell isn't as good as a dog's, but all of these disks smell the same to me.

Whats more is, I posted an honest review to their website, which days later is not published. Yet all the "positive reviews" are there to see.

It feels like your usual instagram dropshipping/fake product scam.

Unfortunately, my dog is not interested in this at all. She is a working breed and very smart, I have been working with dogs for 13 years, understand how enrichment and mental stimulation works and that all dogs are different and therefore have different needs but I spent over $100 on a product that on their website has primarily 5 star reviews (came here and 40% of reviews are 1 star so should’ve done more research). No refunds allowed, so stuck with a toy that my dog doesn’t want to touch. I reached out on several social media platforms with no response until I publicly commented on their Instagram, I was sent some extra scents free of charge (which I appreciate) but as I thought- this did nothing in regards to my dogs interaction with the toy. Wouldn’t recommend. Glad that others have had success with this product but that is unfortunately not my experience.

My dog showed no interest at all. Total waste of money. Going to put it in the bin. Email to the company bounced back. Wish I had read reviews first as I would have been put off especially as it’s so expensive and there is a no refund policy. What a shame.

The fella loved it day one. We thought we had a winner. Turned out it was the novelty of a new toy. He loves scents and balls so we thought this was the perfect toy. Now he has no interest unless.

Absolute waste of money. My dog showed no interest and I gave them the courtesy of trying to return it for a refund. They gave me a “we don’t care” answer and blocked me. If you want to waste $88 on a ball go for it.

Responding to the reply - You are a bold faced liar. I asked for a refund politely in the first email and have the receipts. There are others who had this same issue. Writing a review is not a threat. Which is what I did. You all got angry that I posted my public review on my platforms that have over 200k views a month and blocked me. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

Complete waste of money, I bought it thinking my dog will be interested- he had it and just played with something else. Contacted management to see if there was a return policy - dead silence. Followed their advice switching disc and providing different times of day - nothing. Don’t waste your money - buy your dog a treat instead.

My small cavoodle carries the ball around, the scents don't excite him to sniff, he can get his muzzle in the snuzzle & nibbles at the disc & licks it so much it softens the ends & he pulls it out within 2 days maximum. I found the balls extremely hard to squeeze to insert the disc. It is a good concept but doesn't work for my dog which I am very disappointed about, I was hoping it would keep him occupied. Instead I have mess to clean up, so it's just an expensive ball

I have 2 chocolate labs and at the moment a rescue X Bull Arab. All 3 dogs are normally food and scent driven. I spent a lot of money on 3 balls and an array of scents. All 3 dogs were not remotely interested after trying to encourage them and changing scents. I am deeply disappointed. When I look at the reviews here there certainly seem to be a lot of people like me. I will probably end up giving these away on Marketplace. I feel I have just thrown money away. I would think that if you were so confident about your product you would offer some sort of guarantee.

Don’t waste your money! It doesn’t work. Tried 4 or 5 discs and my German Shepard 7 month old, who goes crazy over scents and smells, plays with it for 2 or 3 minutes and that’s it.

My dog shows zero interest in the schnuzzle. I've tried different scents, I've tried scratching the discs, I've tried playing games with her but she's just not interested which is strange because she usually loves new toys. Expensive waste of money for me

My mini groodle has just received her ball and is going absolutely nuts with it! I think it’s going to have to be kept for a “we are going out and you’re staying home” treat or she will wear herself out playing with it!

Our Weimaraner loves his new toy, his others toys are now just shattered around the house!

Brought starter kit. Then tried to give it to my corgi. No reaction from him. Let it for another day still no reaction, change scent thinking that might work. He just wasn't interested. Disappointing and waste of money. It is now 19th June and still no interest ball is sitting in a corner.
It is now 15th July still not interested in it. Waste of money.

Absolutely rubbish. Save your money. My dog prefers sniffing her own ass than this nonsense.

Ordered 4th may and still not received , contacted them and they advised they missed order and would arrange another to be sent immediately and that was almost 2 weeks ago still no tracking details showing other than label created so order not even dispatched .

This is the worst service

My dog who doesn’t have any other pets to play with, is often bored during the day. Since introducing her to Schnuzzle, I was honestly amazed and in tears from laughter. She played with it for over 30 minutes straight, I was seriously worried she was going to swallow it whole that’s how obsessed she was, then passed out for a nap! I haven’t seen her without it since. It’s the first toy that’s kept her engaged for such long periods.
