ScholaPlan is lesson planning software built for teachers — designed to save time, reduce workload, and help educators focus on what matters most: teaching. Whether you're planning a single lesson or an entire unit of work, ScholaPlan gives you the tools to do it quickly and confidently. Write plans from scratch using our structured templates, or let our AI assistant generate a complete lesson in seconds — including starter activity, main task, plenary, differentiation strategies, and supporting resources. What would take an hour can be done in minutes. At the heart of ScholaPlan is a smarter approach to unit planning. Build a unit once and push individual lessons straight to your timetable. Edit the unit and changes flow through automatically — no more copying and pasting the same update across dozens of files. Your teaching diary gives you a clear view of your full week at a glance. Bump lessons forward when plans change, copy and paste between days, and lock lessons you don't want accidentally moved. Everything stays organised, so you spend less time managing and more time teaching. ScholaPlan works for any subject, any year group, and any curriculum — making it the right tool whether you're a primary teacher in the UK, a high school science teacher in the US, or an international educator anywhere in the world. And because it's cloud-based, your plans are always accessible from any device, wherever you are. We offer a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can experience the full platform before making any commitment. ScholaPlan was built by people who understand the pressures teachers face. Our mission is simple: help you plan once, and teach everywhere.

The best planner for busy teachers

I am a secondary school SENCo and I need anything to make my life easier. Still having a teaching timetable, this helps me plan my lessons easily and seamlessly. The ability to upload lessons, copy and paste them for different classes studying the same content and easily moving lessons forward or back when there are last minute changes takes away unnecessary admin tasks. I also love the AI lesson planner, as it really helps me when I'm in a pinch and stuck for last minute lesson ideas (which happens often with my workload!). It provides great tasks and it considers your type of classroom context; whether there are high SEN numbers or behavioural issues, whether they are mixed ability or high achievers. If you love saving time and being on top of your planning, you'll love this!
