Brilliantly run UX/UI course by Sergei and Chimmy. The provided us with the fundamentals of both UX/UI, while providing us with enough information and exercises to get stuck in. Highly recommend

I attended the 1-day User Research and Usability Testing workshop remotely. Since I knew about the basics of research and usability testing, I expected to get a more hands-on approach in the workshop.
As the course was set for one day, I didn't expect any extensive agenda of exercises.

Upon arriving, I quickly realized, that it was part of a 4-day course, that introduces the attendees into tools and practices of UX design. This meant, that nearly half the time was spent on giving an introduction into UX. This wasn't communicated in the description text, nor in the e-mails of School of UX or on my personal page for the course.

The facilitator gave us insights and tips, which were quite interesting. Generally, she answered every question that arose and told us about her experience with team mates, projects and clients.
She had prepared a few exercises, but in most cases, we didn't have enough time to discuss our results entirely, so time boxing might have been a bit off.

Unfortunately, this experience has made me feel frustrated – mostly, because I had higher/other expectations. I feel like having “workshop" in the title was misleading in my case. I wish, the structure of this course would have been communicated more clearly and that the focus was more on actual research and testing.

Great experience to learn from industry experts with real world of use case examples. The Figma teaching style is exploration, so they tell you the fundamentals and let you preactise for 1 or 2 days and guide you with any questions you have along the way. I would suggest it's better to attend in person, as you can learn from others in the room aswell.

This was a really great course. Sergei, the teacher, explains everything really well and everything is very interesting. Being already a UX/UI Designer, I still learned a lot and during the course, we saw a lot of excellent subjects as : Analytics, A/B Testing, Accessibility, Usability Testing, Wireframing, Prototyping, User Journey Mapping, Figma, Style Guide, Designing for Mobile & Responsive Design.

I recommend this course 100%.

My experience was made especially great because of the instructor Sergei! He was very helpful and you can tell that he has a passion for teaching. Another standout feature is the emphasis on hands-on learning. Throughout the program, we were given numerous opportunities to work on practical projects, both individually and in teams. These projects simulate real-world challenges, allowing students to apply their learnings and develop a robust portfolio of work.

I recently attended a 3 day UX event hosted by Sergei at The School of UX. The training was very engaging and content was excellent, I would thoroughly recommend.
I would also like to take the opportunity to mention Sergei, the trainer. He was brilliant, very knowledgeable and managed to keep a large number of attendees engaged for 3 days which is no easy task. He provided lots of pragmatic tips and I feel better equipped to apply this learning in my organisation. A massive thank you.

Sergei is a gem. His course and his mentorship are personalized and one-of-a-kind. I wanted to take a course that had more than just theory. You'll learn viable skills beyond just the basics. I was blown away by the knowledge and feel prepared to get a job in the field.

I did the 5 day UX/UI bootcamp, it was absolutely brilliant. I learnt so much about both UX and UI, best Figma practices and the design process plus getting opportunities to practice what I learnt. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking to get more experience and knowledge in UX/UI!

What made this course with Sergei unique was his explanation of what UX is and how it should be done. I went into the course with little knowledge about wireframing and UI. The exercises were relevant and the structure of the course showed how UX supports how customers experience a service or product.
I was also aware that there was a lot I didn't know. Sergei was very patient and explained everything.
I learnt about presenting content in an accessible way.

I took the 3-day course on introduction to UX/UI Design and Figma and it was really informative and great fun! I did not have much experience with these subjects before, and this was a great introduction. Sergei explained things understandable and used relevant examples. We also did some exercises that were really helpful. These three days has gone by so fast, thanks for a great course Sergei!😄

I have recently completed a 4 weeks course in UX/UI design and thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend the course for beginners like myself. The course is interactive and engaging. All real life examples incorporated in the course were interesting and I learnt alot. Thank you Sergie for being so patient, attentive and supportive. The tips provided are invaluable.

I participated in the UX & UI Design 3-week Course. I went into the course knowing little about UX and UI design and after completing the course, I have learned so much about the UX and UI world. I also feel much more comfortable navigating Figma. Sergei made class so much fun and was so helpful every step of the way. He is passionate about his work and helping his students succeed.

The 4-day UX design remote course with Sergei was fantastic! Each session consisted of a live lecture, individual/group exercises, and projects. Questions could be asked throughout the course. Overall, great learning experience, and planning to attend another course in the future!

I really enjoyed the 5-day (half days) UX, UI & Content Design course. They covered various aspects of UX and UI as well as understanding our users and how to design good content.

Even though the course was hybrid and I joined remotely, I found it very engaging. We were able to ask questions and were involved in the exercises. There was a good balance between individual exercises and group exercises every day.

If you have some experience with UX and UI, I would say the first couple of days are pretty basic but I still learned a few new things and enjoyed the exercises. It made me think about my current approaches and reminded me to go back to basics and really nail it down.

The wireframing course was my personal highlight as we got to build a working prototype from scratch and really think about the user journey and how to make a great UX & UI. The instructor was great at giving feedback as well.

The final two days were packed with lots of new information for me. While we had the chance to practice these skills in the exercises, I look forward to applying them in my day job as well. I will certainly keep referring to the slides in my daily work.

I have come away with a lot of new learnings from this course. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their UX & UI skills! The fact that it is CPD certified and you come away with a certification is a bonus.

Practical and fun Content Design course with former CNN journalist and current TFL content guru Felice Hawley.
Felice's slides and teaching reflect exactly what she is preaching. Her message is to avoid word clutter and be super clear when you write. All her material and delivery does just that so you really get the idea. She also runs lots of fun, group exercises so you have to do your own thinking. We learnt how users read on screen compared to paper and how to make life easy for them,
I really appreciated the effort Felice put into fairly catering to the needs of the in-person attendees and the online ones simultaneously. Hybrid isn't easy - this class was a great example of how to do this well.
