The payment website has some security…

The payment website has some security vulnerabilities and technical issues. The design and functionality remind me of my early years as a programmer in school in 2004.

Unfortunately, when we tried to use our cards from different banks (4 cards in total), they were declined while attempting to pay for a school trip. I sincerely hope that our card details have not been compromised, as it would be inconvenient to replace them in the coming month.

While I would advise against using this site, it is unfortunate that there are no alternatives available.

The responsibility for changing the payment provider lies solely with the school, but unfortunately, they do not show any interest in doing so.
However, we will continue our efforts and remain hopeful that someone will consider upgrading the entire payment section of this website to meet the standards of 2024.

“Parents or School staff be aware that…

“Parents or School staff be aware that this company is using unfair, illegal conditions at the booking time forcing parents to agree to lose their deposits at the time of booking .
There is no way to book the trip, click next unless you agree!!! Yes who could say no to their son life time School trip abroad. Yes this scam still exists!!
“You agree that the full deposit amount is non-refundable but can be transferred to a replacement passenger, where an applicable name change fee may apply ….
You will never get you money back from them. If you had to cancel like myself, ask your school to refund you the money as they signed a contract favouring the schooltour.ie
I had to cancel my son school trip to Muenich this year, Bailieborough Community School refunded half of my deposit only at this time.
