Utilizing the scoreboard method has had a massively positive impact on our boys as their coaches, Courtney and I.
Through scoreboard practices and other games, we have created a space for kids to play, enjoy some freedoms, develop skills and make friends. We have had positive feedback from the team and have noticed skills and friendships developing right before our eyes!
They boys are taking ownership of their play and have a genuine care for their teammates. They have began taking some agency in developing scoreboards and even send each other to the scoreboard for things they see and appreciate about one another. This is such an awesome way to give play back to these boys, while gently teasing out new skills, mentoring sportsmanship, witnessing organic leadership and being apart of something that is bigger than them and all theirs at the same time. Scoreboard Soccer has left a lasting impression on players! Months on from using these games in drills, players are asking for it to help improve our clubs program. Couldn’t recommend the games high enough!

I used Scoreboard Finding Nemo with my All Abilities group tonight and the scenes were awesome. Most of our players in the program are diagnosed ASD, one literally sat amongst the Scoreboard each time he picked. They were so engaged and motivated. Awesome stuff 🙏🏻

Scoreboard Soccer is a fantastic concept if you are looking to adopt a games based approach to learning. Not only is it fun and enjoyable for the players but it allows you to reward positive behaviours that player display alongside good technical or tactical play. A great tool for developing a love for the game!

I love being able to see how scoreboard soccer will include my players will all levels of experience and also promotes pushing my high performers to continue to perform and not bringing down their skill set. The games are fun and competitive. I can’t wait to try them with my team!

Great concept for instilling the love of the game.

We recently used Scoreboard Soccer for a Halloween event with the kids, and it was a huge hit! The kids absolutely loved it, and it was great to see them so engaged. Scoreboard Soccer has always been a fantastic tool for reinforcing good aspects of play, not just focusing on goals but on the overall experience and teamwork.

The Halloween theme added an extra layer of fun, and several parents reached out afterward to say how much their children enjoyed the night. We're big fans of Scoreboard and will definitely continue using it on the future. Highly recommend!

Good information and ideas to further engage players. I'll use this to develop activities for upcoming camps. Looking forward to learning more!

Really enjoyed learning about the concept. Would love a deeper dive discussion on the topic of the course (using the concept for player and person development) but understand that the ability to do so is limited in a 90 minute course
