Scott Brothers Butchers is a traditional family butchers, established in 1935 by the grandfather of the current partners, George and Scott Jarron. We pride ourselves on providing locally sourced, traditionally matured and great-tasting meat to our customers through our shops in Dundee and Broughty Ferry and across the country as online butchers. Our Strathmartine Road shop and premises in Dundee have been busy serving local customers since 1981. In our kitchens here we make all our pies, puddings and ready-made meals in-house, using locally sourced ingredients. And our trained butchers ensure our full range of meat is at its best for our customers and are only too happy to chat through meal options or swop recipe ideas with customers.

Items arrived on time. Very well packaged and undamaged. Not tried everything yet but unfortunately the mince round was far too salty to be eaten and therefore was thrown away.

Delicious food
Ordered the onion Lorne this time with my monthly order and can say it’s delicious. I also ordered the chicken Cajun stir fry this was also delicious. I might nip in the shop next time I’m in the ferry as I wanted to see if you did pork stir fry as I can’t see it on the website. But all in all everything is delicious and highly recommend this to everyone. 😋

Best Scotch pies ever!
I ordered Scotch pies, Dundee peis, battered white pudding plus a couple of other things. Both sorts of pies were delicious as was the white pudding. I was born in Dundee and they reminded me of when I was a child living there. It wasn’t my first order and it will not be my last.

Just to clarify, the delay on your order was caused by a tragic accident on the courier's route, which impacted a number of deliveries. We did try to communicate this as soon as we were made aware and continued to monitor the situation closely.
As we use a third-party courier for national deliveries, occasional delays are unfortunately out of our hands. That said, our packaging is designed to keep your order properly chilled for up to 72 hours in the winter and 48 hours in the summer from dispatch, so a delay within that timeframe won’t affect product quality.

Worth the money.
Great packaging so products stay cool. Amazing quality. You could taste the difference in the steak. Would definitely recommend and use again.
