Just what I was looking for a quality vice made in the UK. Its a solid piece of kit but delicate enough to hold small hooks.Built in an old engineering style. I can see this lasting forever.

Scottie split cane wading staff
I received my wading staff as a present and was delighted at the traditional craftsmanship and quality which I much prefer over overpriced, mass produced products. It’s light, strong and the brass tip heavy enough to sink the end of the stick in strong currents, very important as my line used to wrap around the end of my old staff. The handle is comfortable and I really like the thumb grip. The cord is white which probably isn’t the best colour given the environment the staff will be used and a clip of some sort would be helpful to attach the staff to yourself or waders.
Overall a great product I’m looking forward to having years of use from.
