This is a legit college level class that assumes you have foundational Chemistry knowledge (and I don't mean high school material). Its an overwhelming amount of information that is hard to absorb if you are seeing it for the first time ever. This should not be your first chemistry class since high school. Do the recommended pre-requisite first. Otherwise, you will panic and drop the class. The class itself is good.

Well designed and user friendly. It is a lot of material to cover in a short amount of time.

Course was fast paced and like any chem course difficult at times. I recommend only if you are disciplined enough.

I did like the fact that it can be completed in 5 weeks. I DO NOT like the fact that the tests holds so much weight on the grades and if you are going to keep it that way then extra credit should be allowed. Even USC SanDiego does this for the students as they also place a heavy grade weight on tests. It is nearly impossible to get an A in your program (I never did) and I had a straight 4.0 in all sciences before taking your classes and graduated summa cumm laude from my BS program it was the tests that prevented me from achieving this, I was always at an 89. something right on the edge but if I had been able to do some extra credit ... which would have actually helped me learn something.. test do nothing to teach you they just evaluate what you already know. I think you have some Excellent instructors and the 5 week accelerated classes helps us who are in need of picking up some prerequisites quickly but you are also screwing us by placing such heavy grade weight on the test and if your going to do that let it be untimed and open book or and if not allow extra credit.
