About Sea Fever Sailing Sea Fever Sailing offers holiday cruises, adventure sails and sailing instruction in the Firth of Clyde and the West of Scotland — some of the most beautiful cruising waters in the world. Based at Largs Yacht Haven, we take you out among the Clyde islands and along the stunning Scottish coastline, whether you're looking to relax with family and friends, chase a proper adventure, or build real skill on the water. What makes us different is the people and the approach. Every trip is led by RYA Yachtmaster Instructor Dónal Boyle, drawing on more than 30 years of experience and over 200 completed adventures. We believe good sailing is about more than ticking off a syllabus, so our training is hands-on, unhurried and built around confidence, care and quality. We run the full range of RYA courses — Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Preparation — alongside our own bespoke Sea Fever development weeks that take you from beginner and improver level right through to Yachtmaster and beyond. With deliberately low student-to-instructor ratios and six days on the water, you get real time to practise, reflect and genuinely improve. We also offer own-boat tuition and skippered charters for those who want personal training on their own terms.
