Sealand Villas Reviews 

Great villa with a very large pool in a beautiful setting with a view of the private "house mountain." On the porch, you could enjoy a meal or relax in the rocking chairs. The kitchen was well-suited for cooking, and the bedrooms and living room were top-notch. There are minor deductions in the bathrooms (only one shower with a fairly thin water stream and an extremely long warm-up time, one bathroom upstairs open to the bedroom, which is not ideal for privacy). You could have the villa cleaned once a week, and there were plenty of fresh towels – all of this made the stay very comfortable.

Firstly, we have been to Majorca on many occasions and stayed in various properties - this was our 4th time to Pollenca.

I know Sealand Villas (was known as Easyvillas) provide the map reference for the property, but why haven’t any of the three that we have stayed at with them have the property name outside, as when we arrived we thought we were at the wrong place as there was an old car parked inside the gates so we presumed it was being lived in.

Once inside the Villa though, many issues but a toilet seat with its cover were detached and propped up against the wall. We immediately phoned and to their credit, the owner came round soon after to temporarily fix it. The following morning a representative came so we could highlight the other issues. She took numerous photos and removed a rusting saucepan lid.

Again to their credit, a gardener arrived later in the day and by cutting back the hedge, the pool could be accessed via the steps and the lifebuoy was now discovered. A further tidy up revealed a bench. Has no one stayed here for months? Also, a number of unused small tiles were removed that had been left along the edge of the pool.

Also outside, all the sun loungers were stained and the metal frames were very grubby including were you would rest your arms. I pointed out that I had started to clean them with a kitchen scourer that they had provided, but surely this should have been done before guests arrive.

A plumber also arrived later that day to properly repair the broken toilet.

Later on, we received a new set of breakfast bowls and glasses, so thank you as they were much appreciated. One of our many gripes had been that the entire crockery and cutlery collection was made up a bits and pieces; there were no sets so it seemed as though the owner had collected whatever he/she could find. Also, a cleaner was sent out as cleanliness had been raised including a greasy orange liquid in the fridge.

A couple of days later, my wife went to use the hairdryer and was showered with pieces of black plastic and the sound of the dryer was ear piercing. We called to report it and was told a new one would be sent out later that day, if not first thing the next day. As nothing had arrived by mid afternoon the next day, we called again and a replacement arrived later.

Also, before we arrived, we were asked via email if we would like the Villa cleaned during our stay. We accepted the offer, especially as we were playing nearly €200 a night, and rec’d confirmation that this would be done on 02 October. No one came, so we made contact and a cleaner finally came out two days later, on day 11 of our 13 day holiday. Let’s hope the cleaning team return before the next lucky holidaymakers!!

Once home, Sealand asked us to submit a review, but because we didn’t provide a top rating, it wasn’t accepted on to their website - check their website, there are only 4* & 5* ratings 🤔 Because of this review, we have now been blacklisted from booking future holidays, but continue to be sent emails despite unsubscribing - so much for free speech!!!

Such a clean and spotless villa (who are your cleaners!!) with a lovely setting and a beautiful pool. The decor was traditional, yet airy, with some lovely arty touches. Very feng shui layout. The kitchen seemed brand new. The facilities, wifi, etc. all efficient. We didn't see a soul, just as we like it, apart from delightful Bertie Bassett hound next door who came to see us to say hello every afternoon. There's a rugged path across the little ford that you can walk straight into Pollensa, seeing goats and bats and the amazing night sky on your walk. Best without torch for seeing the stars. The road to villa is narrow but easy to navigate once you know and adds to the off the beaten track feel. Loved it. Thank you Sealand and villa owner for a very smooth arrangement.

We had a great stay in a well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated place. We loved all the details in the house, the spacious garden and the pool. The only thing to be improved might be moscitoscreens in the windows as our kids really suffered from the mosquito bites although I understand that that would not fit the charme of the lovely house. A very friendly and helpful gardener tends to the garden every day and if there were questions we had a response within half an hour. Absolute recommendation.

I would never book a Villa with Sealand Villas again. The Villa was described incorrectly (there was no downstairs living accommodation). As a result our elderly mother's, who have mobility problems, were forced to go up and down concrete steps all through the holiday. One of them had an accident.
Additionally the villa was filthy. Despite the cleaners turning up, it remained filthy. We told Sealand specifics about the cleanliness issues. They remained unresolved throughout the holiday. Of note were a number of sanitary towels/ panty liners (yes discussing eh) stuck to one of the bedroom walls.
We had to go out and buy cleaning products.
Additionally In Resort communications were terrible. We were initially offered a paltry 250 E compensation.
I sought guidance from Citizen Advise and managed to obtain a bit more. Which we accepted, on the basis that the next stage would be to formally engage the services of a Solicitor.

We fully understand that things go wrong from time to time, but how a company responds in these instances is a measure of the Company. Sealand’s response was shocking. Never again.

A lovely villa in a quiet location.Font Xica Petit is a 4 bed 4 bath villa with a traditional feel. The grounds are well maintained and the pool large enough for family fun. The rural location and Mountain views are wonderful. Already missing the goat’s bells! We had one plumbing issue which was fixed the same day. Plenty to do in the area and spoit for choice for meals in both the old town and the port. Can recommend and would return. 😎

Fantastic Villa.. second time visiting - it was so great the first time. Customer service and comms from the team at Sealand is excellent. Always available at the end of an email or phone call - very assuring when your booking/on your holiday!.

We were burgled by a masked intruder who broke the door open with a crowbar. Sealand Villas (who supplied the villa via Oliver’s Travels) did nothing to help and failed to mend the door. They wanted us to stay at the villa with our two young children, despite the door being broken. We had to pay thousands of pounds for a hotel as we refused to put them at risk. The villa was also very run down and in need of some TLC. We saw cockroaches in the bathroom on the first night.

Audrey was so helpful and very efficient when dealing with our booking and other queries before we departed for our stay at this villa.
The villa was neat & clean when we arrived but rubbish had been left in the kitchen bin, and whilst we did not opt for a mid-week clean, there were plenty of towels for us for the stay.
However, the villa is now looking a little tired and decor strips were coming off along one of the cabinets in the kitchen. There is insufficient comfortable seating for the villa capacity and more umbrellas would be useful. The safe caused us an issue but was resolved fairly quickly and it would be useful if both safes could be used. The pool was cleaned mid-week but there was a lot of bird droppings along the perimeter which could have been swept off at the time and before our arrival. The location of the villa is fantastic as you can walk so easily into Puerto Pollensa and this is why we have been to the villa several times over the years.

We’ve used Sealand for many years, Audrey is great! Very helpful and easy to book villas and support with all the admin and extras is fab too.

The villa was just how we left it last year - really ideal for a family break and near to Arta for shopping - car essential

Quiet and peaceful but with sound of farmers and cockerels

Villa needs to have six adults to be great value but 4 gives greater accommodation choices at an increased cost per head

Villa itself (Villa Xica Font Gran - Pollensa) was very nice but we had some issues

1. The AC didn't work on arrival - we contacted the resort office by email but they didn't respond.
2.When I called them again they said they'd moved office & hadn't looked at any emails
3. Turned out the AC had been set to heat mode - it was June. It was a 2 min job to fix but it massively affected our comfort. The AC should have been set properly before we arrived
4. The pool was out of action for last 3 or 4 days due to some issue with the pump - many people came and went and said they were getting parts or coming back later to do something- unfortunately when we left it was unusable still.

Sealand themselves - overall experience was as expected & the directions / documents etc were accurate & comprehensive

Positives:
All the process of reservation and administrative work was perfect.
The house itself was clean.
Issues:
1) The kitchen utensils are the worst, the knives are old and don't cut butter.
2) No expresso machine
3) The toilets on the ground floors (except the Master bedroom) smell very bad (sewer). This was the most uncomfortable part of the stay

Really clean, everything we needed and best of all, individual air conditioning in bedrooms. Absolute bliss.
Also, great communication from Audrey at all times.

Booked a villa in Majorca near Port Pollensa in August.
The service from Audrey was great, very informative and knowledgeable and made the process very easy.
The Villa selected looked wonderful and perfect for a family of 5z

Upon arrival, the Villa was as expected from the images but upon entrance to the Villa, we found many faults.

Mould in the shower, rusty saw off tap in the kitchen, dangerous pool steps for the children and strangers in the surrounding fields able to access the Villa.

No amenities left upon arrival and felt very cold and not friendly.

I was very disappointed with the property as after staying in numerous villas, this was a let down.
