The report that we have received from Simon was very detailed, included lots of pictures and descriptions and we have now a very good understanding of the issues in the property we are planning to buy. Simon was also available for a phone call to discuss any questions with us. I would definitely recommend Searchlight Surveyors especially for first time buyers, who don't have much experience and can easily miss some important things. Really excellent service and great value for money. I normally don't leave reviews but I am so happy with the service that it would be unfair not to spread the word.

The report produced by Simon is very comprehensive yet easy to digest. His communication while organising the survey was quick with all my questions answered.

He phoned just after he had completed the survey to talk through it all with me which was great.

Having had to buy many homes to live in over the years, I needed the services of a great number of surveyors. Simon Dowse of Searchlight led them all.
I was initially impressed that Simon first asked me if I had specific queries I had about the property and he noted them carefully before commencing the survey. It was clear from his later report, that these queries were given total scrutiny.
The final survey report itself was a model of how professional reports SHOULD be written. It was a comprehensive working document backed with quality photographs and helpful advice on how to move forward with my purchase.

Survey was very detailed. We received a call to talk us through findings on the day of the survey and the report the next day. Any queries were answered in detail and even with photos of examples. Great service!
