Wat aanvankelijk een heel goeie ervaring was, werd een heel dure les voor ons.
Op 21 mei 2023 hebben wij een hoekbank bij Seats and Sofas Amersfoort besteld.Wij werden toen verzekerd (op papier) dat de levertijd tussen 6 tot 10 weken zou zijn. Heel vriendelijke dienst, maar dat was het einde. Bij thuiskomst zagen we op de koopovereenkomst dat de levertijd was gewijzigd van de handgeschreven bevestiging door de verkoper, naar tussen de 13 en 24 weken. Mijn man ging een dag later terug en werd verzekerd dat de bestelling al doorgegeven was aan de leverancier en dat het daarom heel snel zou gaan. Ik werd twee dagen later gebeld omdat ik mijn bestelling optie nog moest aangeven. Dat heb ik al gedaan en toen wist ik ook dat nog niets doorgegeven was aan de leverancier. Ik heb de manager gebeld, ook aangezien de levermethode anders was dan afgesproken. Zijn excuus was dat hij niet 7 dagen in de week kan werken en mijn man heeft de service manager gesproken. Ook dat wat op het contract staat bindend is en dat wij niet ons deposito konden terugkrijgen, aangezien kosten al aangegaan was.
Ik heb contact met de juridische loket opgenomen en op advies een brief verstuurd dat ik graag van de koop wou af. Als ik vooraf wist wat de echte situatie was, had ik dit product niet gekocht.
Nu krijg ik geen terugvoer van Seats and Sofas?
What was initially a very good experience turned into a very expensive lesson for us.
On May 21, 2023 we ordered a corner sofa from Seats and Sofas Amersfoort. We were then assured (on paper) that the delivery time would be between 6 to 10 weeks. Very friendly service, but that was the end. When we got home, we saw on the purchase agreement that the delivery time was changed from the hand written confirmation by the sales person, to between 13 and 24 weeks. My husband went back a day later and was assured that the order had already been passed on to the supplier and that it would therefore go very quickly. I was called two days later because I still had to indicate my order option. I already did that and then I also knew that nothing had been passed on to the supplier yet. I called the manager, also because the delivery method was different than agreed. His excuse was that he cannot work 7 days a week and my husband spoke to the service manager. Also that what is on the contract is binding and that we could not get our deposit back, as costs had already been incurred.
I contacted the legal counter and sent a letter on advice that I would like to cancel the purchase. If I knew in advance what the real situation was, I would not have bought this product.
Now I don't get a response from Seats and Sofas?

- First Delivered sofa with corner on the wrong side.
- After a lot of follow up, sent a sofa which is soggy already (cloth has a lot of folds)
- The handle to pull the bed out of the sofa is missing
- Customer care is reckless and rude.
- They take your money and dont give service.

Its almost 6 months now. I am still waiting to get my order completed. I was asked to make the payment before delivery but the sofa which was delevered was not complete and only part was delevered. It was wrongly build and the other part was taken back the same day. Looked like a scam as how can anyone send such sofa which was not even checked.
It was suppose to be a U shaped sofa and I cant use the half delivered part.
I am constantly trying to reach them on all the emails of shop also filled online form, since last many weeks but they have completely stoped replying. On call as well they dont answer anything. Since I had made the whole payment they are not at all interested in fixing it.
They deserve a zero star infact.
Looks like a complete FRAUD. please be careful with this shop. Dont buy, there are other reliable shops like IKEA.

Terrible customer services! Avoid them if you can!
We received a damaged sofa,so we sent it back,since then we have no information what is going on,no email reply and when I call they say that they will call me back well, that obviously never happened. I guess it's time for the consumer protection office to help us or the police to claim at least our money back.

The seller promised to deliver the sofa in 6 weeks, when I called them to understand when I can pick up the sofa, they told me they would deliver in 12 weeks and it would probably be more because 12 weeks is the end of the year and it is a festive period, right? As I should understand this stupid answer.
Another problem here is that I would have never accepted 12 weeks because my brother is visiting me in 7 weeks and he would sleep on this sofa, this means that the seller lied to me to sell the sofa. Nice store and nice employee.
They are only nice and helpful until you pay, if you need something after that it is the worse service I have ever seen.
The seller also promised a sofa that I could keep until the one I bought would be deliverer but I am trying to call the store and I have to wait for more than 40 minutes every time until someone picks up the phone. When it happens, the seller is never available. Impressive!!

De verkoper beloofde de bank binnen 6 weken te leveren, toen ik ze belde om te horen wanneer ik de bank kan ophalen, zeiden ze dat ze binnen 12 weken zouden leveren en dat het waarschijnlijk meer zou zijn omdat 12 weken het einde van het jaar is en het is toch een feestperiode? Zoals ik dit stomme antwoord zou moeten begrijpen.
Een ander probleem hier is dat ik 12 weken nooit zou hebben geaccepteerd omdat mijn broer me over 7 weken bezoekt en hij op deze bank zou slapen, dit betekent dat de verkoper tegen me heeft gelogen om de bank te verkopen. Leuke winkel en aardige medewerker.
Ze zijn alleen aardig en behulpzaam totdat je betaalt, als je daarna iets nodig hebt, is het de slechtste service die ik ooit heb gezien.
De verkoper beloofde ook een bank die ik mocht houden totdat degene die ik kocht de bezorger zou zijn, maar ik probeer de winkel te bellen en ik moet elke keer meer dan 40 minuten wachten totdat iemand de telefoon opneemt. Als het gebeurt, is de verkoper nooit beschikbaar. Indrukwekkend!!
