Deceived, robbed and disrespected
I went to Seats and Sofas on the 17th of June to buy a sofa in 12 months as announced by the store. I was very clear that this was the only way I could buy a sofa with them. They told me that I should receive an email from Santander. I never received any email from the bank or from the store. On the 27th of June, I sent an email to them asking about the sofa, if everything was all right, and when I could pick it up. They answered congratulating me, stating that everything was okay and that I could pick the sofa up immediately. I paid 75 euros to take the sofa. Then I was informed that I need to pay the full price because the installments were not approved by the bank. After hours trying and waiting on the phone, the manager of the store told me I could pay the installments direct to them but I would only be able to have the sofa after paying the last installment within 1 year. When I said him it was not right because I will not pay for something I can't have now, he told me that the problem is mine and not his. If the transaction was not approved by the bank, I should be warned and they should cancel it, but they want I pay 50% of the bank. I repeat, IT WAS NOT AGREED IN THE MOMENT OF THE PURCHASE. In the end, the manager of the store in Apeldoorn told me that he would talk to the head office in Eindhoven and would contact me. It was 3 days ago and no contact until now. I'm feeling deceived, robbed, and disrespected as a person, as a client, as a woman and as a foreigner. The store doesn't give us any space to solve the issues honestly and clearly. The only thing I want now is to get rid of them, but I want everything written via messages and documents.
