DONT WASTE TIME WITH SEATS AND SOFAS

Incredibly incopetent and unfriendly.
I purchased the sofa in the store where I was told delivery will be 6-12 weeks. Then via email I receive a document to sign with delivery 12-23 weeks. I just want to cancel the order and receive my money back. Cancel the order ASAP!
Edit: I did receive the confirmation that the order has been cancelled and that my money will be returned. The experience was so dreadful, I will be happy to see the money back on my account and to forget about this whole experience.

Seats and Sofas Nieuwgein- Unethical salesman

2 weeks ago we went to Seats and Sofas Nieuwgein to look at the seats we liked on the website. The first employee who dealt with us was polite and showed us different fabric samples. While we were touring the store, another employee who identified himself as the store manager came. He said that he could make a discount for the model we liked and gave us a higher price than the price on the internet with what he called a discounted sofa. We thanked him and explained that we were just looking at it today because we hadn't done the measurements in our new house yet. Then he brought another employee from the store and he introduced himself to us as the so-called finance manager and gave us another discount of 100 euros and kept saying that this was special for that day (the price was still higher than the price on the internet). Then, while my husband and I were trying to note the sofas we liked, they started to insist more and more, and when I repeated that I didn't want to buy a sofa today and that their prices were higher than the internet prices, they started to be rude. No matter how much I like the sofa, I will never buy anything from this shop that tries to sell something by putting people in a momentary gap with insistence.

No delivery in terms

Salesman was very annoying to push the sale but overall not a bad experience in the store.

Meanwhile salesman explicit told us delivery within 6 to 8 weeks ( because i said because we bought appartment we needed the couch and he sayd yes to it.)

Week 12 now still sitting on lawn chairs.

I just want my couch or my money so i can buy an couch..

Bad quality couch

Where do I start. After buying a couch we had for a month we had to send it back due to bad quality. 20 weeks later, we haven't recieved our couch...Rochelle at Seats and Sofas in Nieuwegein is the rudest and most unhelpful individual. To date no one has come back to us after numerous e-mails and follow ups on our side. Pathetisch.

Worst customer service experience

Worst customer service experience. Just got the sofa delivered and one of the sofa is not able to get to attic and we tried to ask for help with the store. They denied saying they are not responsible for it. Now when we try to open the sofa bed - we are not able to open it either, it's delivered damaged - the pieces are coming out at the bottom. When I try to reach out to them now - they do not receive the call.

We just got a perfect sofa for our house. There is a huge varity in the shop. Staff is very polite and helpfull. Manager helped us a lot in decision making about fabric and design. Overall fantastic experience. Thanks you

Veel spijt!

Bought a couch in May. It was built incorrectly so I was required to pay their delivery service to deliver, collect and deliver again. 360€ in delivery fees...
It's now November, and still nothing. They have had the returned couch for 3 months and haven't done anything since.
Customer service is no help. I would never shop there again and suggest you look elsewhere.

I would never recommend them

I would never recommend them. Bought a Sofa a year ago and it has quality issues (unevenly filled, filling is coming out). They expect from me to deliver by myself to their warehouse and picking up when it’s ready (already paid 150€ for the delivery for the 1st time). Customer Service does not help, they are not covering any cost. WORST SERVICE EVER!!

Do not waste your money here

I wish I had read other reviews before I bought from this place.

The couches look great in the store. Store service is aggressively friendly. But that’s where it stops. Once they take your money and you sign the agreement, you can forget all that.

From the time between my previous reviews, I’ve been promised by the Nieuwegein Store that the delivery company will contact me. No contact made since Thursday 7 July when they claimed someone would call me. I have been calling every day since and after several attempts someone finally answered. I spoke to someone who again “promised” delivery of my couch. I managed to get the number for the delivery company.

You have to arrange your own delivery via their contracted delivery company and the cost seatsandsofas gives you is not what it actually ends up costing. From 90€ to 145€! There is no transparency or customer care present at this company.
Save yourself the hassle and frustration and just order from a reputable and transparent company like Ikea or Bol.
You will know exactly how much everything will cost and when your goods will be delivered the moment you have completed the transaction. You will also not have to do any of your own arrangements for delivery and wonder “hmmmm, when is my couch going to be delivered?”
