A potter's sampling of four of our premium stoneware and porcelain clay bodies, it includes four twelve-pound blocks - one each of our Eclipse clay, Klamath Yellow Clay, Seattle Freeze Porcelain, and Sea Mix 6 clay. All four fire at cone 5, and give you a nice color selection to play with. We like all four for throwing, dinnerware, jiggering/jollying, and pressing. The stonewares are also great for hand building.
NOTE: Seattle Freeze can harden when stored. To return it to working consistency, wedge hard (we recommend throwing it on the floor with force), then wedge as normal. Do not add water! Watch the Icebreaker video.

A friend made a slab roller for me and I have just been getting used to the "personality" of the different clay, I am using the white and I really like it, The red has a different density but I will get used to it as well. Thank you, Eileen Caspersen

I’m really liking this clay. I’m throwing on my wheel and so far so good. I’ve tried all the different colors and they stand up really well. The yellow clay seems to have a lot of grit which is not my favorite to work with but the bowls and mugs came out great. It will be interesting to see the clay colors change from red to black and yellow to red. I’d buy this clay again.
