A stunning stoneware, Alpine White is highly plastic and extremely structured. It handles beautifully on the wheel, and can achieve great heights without the addition of sand or grog. When fired, this clay is as white as a porcelain, and any glaze compliments and shines with it. Smooth and strong, it's also great for handbuilding! Recommended for intermediate to experienced potters and for sculpture.

This clay works well on the pottery wheel. I would definitely recommend it for beginners. You really can't mess it up. Very firm and stable. It's a bit sandy but that's ok too.

A nice throwing clay with sufficient grog to go tall. One star deduction due to the need to compress the vessel bottoms more than usual to avoid cracking as clay reaches leather hard stage

Very nice clay, feels smooth on the wheel and yet has the strength of a medium coarse clay. Really enjoy working with it so far, and am looking forward to seeing it out of the kiln.
