Worst park in the area
I am upmost embarassed to have taken company to this Park. We purchased military Tickets and meal Passes on line, but noone was able to scan them and we constantly held up lines and had to put up with rude and incapable emplyees.
DO NOT purchase meal passes, there are suppose to be 6 restaurants you can use, but the food is so bad that it's not edible and makes a hospital cafeteria a gourmet restaurant. The worst, all restaurants serve the same tasting food and desserts.
Prizes are ridiculous, seaworld t-shirts are $40, a coffee or an ice cream cone is $10. I saw families with multiple children that had to share one cone.
The restaurants are so dirty and run down with broken and chipped furniture, greasy walls and undefined floors that it is a health hazard to even just sit down.
Now let's talk about the most bothersome, criminal thing: animal keeping at seaworld. Nothing has been renovated in over 25 years. The encounters are way to small with rusty enclosures abd dirty waters. The penguin encounter is overpopulated and these poor creatures have to live their lives in a crowded dungeon without natural light.
The dolphin nursery brought my granddaughter to tears, because of a mini pool with two mothers and their calves imprisoned, having to endlessly swim in a small circle.
The flamingos had such little space that was just plain ridiculous overall I saw evidence of animal cruelty.
Half of the parks booths and eateries were closed and throughout we walked by endless white or brown painted 10 ft wood barricades. There were two overcrowded shows, with the orcas snd the sealions, but we boycotted these due to animal humanitarian issues.
Overall, I will never ever go back to this park, it is one big rip off with nothing to do or see and imprisoned, mistreated animals.
My husband who is a tech wizard could…
My husband who is a tech wizard could not buy tickets on line. We live in Canada and they did not recognize our postal code. On line tickets were $650 for 5 people. Went to theme park, tickets were over $1,000. The ticket lady didn’t care and we were told that this park has nothing to do with online ticket prices. No smile, no trying to help. We paid over $1,000. First stop Sky Tower, nope…we were told we have to pay to get on this ride. We asked why as we just paid $1,000 and we were not happy. We were told by the big dude to f*** off. Ok…speakers not working in the Aquarium…walking sidewalk not working in the whale exhibit. To shows we saw were very entertaining. My granddaughter was hungry after the show. 2 hot dogs and 1 coke…over $40. I will NEVER go to this park again.
Less than 1 star service
Less than 1 star service. Bought tickets from their app 4-13-2023. Unfortunately it didn’t go through so we had to buy them again that same day. It went through. But was charged twice. We called and they said our credit card company would be refunded. So We go to sea world 4-14-2023…. Only to find that out tickets on the app had disappeared!! They refused to do anything about it. Said it was our CC company’s problem and that we would have to repurchase them right there for full price!! The manager was zero help and the cashier was so rude!! I was so mad I wanted to leave but I could not disappoint 5 children. So we purchased them full price. Only to disappointed that many of the rides were not open or working. We also waited in line over an hour just for that ride to break down before we could get on. Some of the other rides were not included in the initial price. My daughter bought a refillable cup for 20$. Only to find out you could only refill it at certain places.
Worst day ever!! We come home and call our CC company to be sure we weren’t charged for the 2 initial purchases of tickets that “didn’t go through”. The CC company refunded 1 as it was their mistake. Sea world refused to refund the tickets that “disappeared.” We are being charged for 7 tickets that we never used or received!! That’s over 1,000$!!!! DO NOT USE THEIR APP!! Do not go to sea world. My children were sadly disappointed! And we were robbed!! Worst place on earth!!

Went over Easter 2023 at the insistence of my partner. I wasn’t keen because of what I had heard about the dolphin and orca facilities, but I kept an open mind.
The park feels generally run down. While we were there, several of the rides weren’t running and I’d say about 10% of the food outlets were open.
The thing that will stay with me is how poor the conditions were for the manatees. A large number of these huge mammals in what can only be described as a glorified deep duck pond. It was filthy and these endangered animals had obviously insufficient room to manouevre around each other. The enclosure was clearly built with an emphasis on providing a novel underground experience for the viewer with no thought at all for the comfort and dignity of these animals. My partner was horrified and swears she will never go back and won’t encourage anyone else to do so (despite her happy childhood memories of the place).
I’m astounded that this place hasn’t been closed down by the authorities in Florida. It speaks volumes.

Cancelled annual pass in December of 2019. One pass was used by my daughter in June of 2020.
I never knew this. I never knew they were charging me monthly still until my bank reached out due to the card being expired. I contacted Seaworld Orlando and they couldn't find any records of the online cancelation or the phone in one I did the same day.
They offered to cancel my account and that was it...well I already did that and they have been charging ever since.
The supervisor went into an automated call termination as soon as I mentioned contacting the bank and leaving reviews online then she hung up on me.
SeaWorld
A Fabulous Place, Sea World is so fun and enjoyable for all the family.
Great Animal Shows, plenty of different rides to suit everyone, lots to see and friendly workers.

Profiting off of the captivity and imprisonment of Orcas
Please stop supporting this inhumane business. They cannot keep operating if we dont support it please. Watch Blackfish
Orcas
My son and I actually felt bad after leaving. Really disturbing to see an Orca with its back fin laying flat and clearly psychotic. Watched Black Fish documentary after our visit. SeaWorld should close down.
Horrific for animals
This kind of spectacles featuring orcas and intelligents mammals in captivity in small enclosed areas are absolutely horrific. (go watch black fish)
Imagine a birds in a cage all his life.
Or imagine yourself in a big cage where you can't move freely like you would in nature.
Please don't go, if you love animals
The prices at sea were an absolute…
The prices at sea were an absolute insane and insulting! For two beers cost & 30. Refreshments were eight dollars and waters were $5. lunch for the both of us was $56. That included a kids meal at lunch and two drinks! All the shows were the Same format for the last 15 years and half the animal shows were not available. For two adults parking $30, tickets $280, food and drink.. $125… $450 for two to see fish for 5 hours. Could have takin a cruise for 4 days for that price!
We were here on 2/4/23 and this was our…
We were here on 2/4/23 and this was our first visit and DEFINITELY our last. The ORCA show is extremely sad the animals should be in the ocean where they can roam far and wide they can't do that in captivity and in those small tanks!!!!! They are only doing the tricks for the fish anyway!!!! The place got so crowded it was unbearable and customer service SUCKS!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buyer Beware!!!!!
I purchased two tickets to see REO Speedwagon on February 5, 2023 at SeaWorld Orlando. After spending $120, and confirmed my purchase, my confirmation email alerted that you also have to purchase park entry tickets in order to see the show. This was not brought to my attention until AFTER the transaction was complete. Day of the show, I called Seaworld, spoke to an outsourced supervisor who told me that what I bought was upgraded reserve seats on what would've been a free concert with the price of admission. I told her I felt like that was a bait and switch move and that I wanted a refund for the tickets I purchased as I would not be able to afford park entry for 2 people when I had no intentions of going to Seaworld, I simply wanted to see the concert. They informed me basically so sad too bad, the ticket price was not refundable. So am I understanding that they basically just ripped me out for $120? I since have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not buy concert tickets to see a show at Seaworld. It is a complete scam.
They just want to grab your money
They just want to grab your money! Customer services does not exist. The rides, due to poor maintenance, are often closed. Everybody is just rude. The locker system is outrageous! They make you pay it for every single ride. Compared to Disney and Universal, this park is garbage
Poor customer service
We purchased our tickets on line. Only add ons:parking and one meal for each of us (2). Our meal voucher was not accepted by the cashier at the restaurant. We were told to go to customer service with our receipt. At customer service the hostess validated our meal purchases and went to the restaurant with appropriate receipts, paperwork to verify our meals purchase. The restaurant manager refused to verify our purchase with the customer service hostess insisting we come back to the restaurant. Tired at the end of our day we left rather than walk all the way back to the restaurant. Needless to say we are very disappointed in this lack of customer service on the part of the restaurant manager.
I believe this is the 2nd review I have…
I believe this is the 2nd review I have ever written in my 46 years of life. Sea World has me so flipping mad though. My husband and I were refused a refund for season passes that we were prevented from fully using. Let me explain, my husband has one arm. It doesn't hold him back. To be honest most people who know him forget he is missing an arm because he manages to do everything anyone else does. He works hard, takes care of his family, his home and his yard without any assistance or complaint. But apparently that has not earned him respect from SeaWorld.
We planned a trip to Seaworld San Antonio months in advance for our grandson. It was planned for the day after we would be saying goodbye to our son who was shipping out. We wanted to to give our grandson a day to look forward to because he had to say goodbye to his dad (Airforce) for 15 months. Not that this part is SeaWorld's problem, but it gives you an understanding of how much this day meant to us. The plan was to have fun and distract him from the sadness we knew he would be feeling. Instead, this would be the day our grandson learned what discrimination was.
We got to the park when it opened. We wanted our fun day started early. We headed to the best rides first so lines would be shorter. None of the thrill rides were open though. They were being tested and we were told would open after they were done. For about 2 hours we we rode a couple medium thrill level rides rides and one roller coaster without issues and were having a blast. The day takes a sharp turn south though when we try to ride the 2nd coaster of the day. We went past the line attendants without any mention of rules about having a limb missing. We get into our seats on the coaster , but it's been an abnormally long time and it's still not going. After conversing among themselves for a few minutes, one of the attendant come to our car and asks my husband to get off the ride stating that he must have all 4 limbs to ride. Everyone on the ride and in line was staring at us at this point, so we just left the ride. We decided to stick to rides we knew we could ride for my grandson's sake. Had it just been my husband and I, we would have left. But we didn't want to ruin our grandson's day. So we go get in line to re-ride one of the rides we had rode an hour before. It's finally our turn and we get into our seats but noticed all the attendants had gotten grouped to the side and were talking. We assumed it was a maintenance issue or shift change. Nope, somehow from 60 min prior to this point the rules of the ride had changed. My husband was asked to leave. We try a couple more rides and he was not permitted on anything we tried to ride. I guess our first time on these rides no one noticed he was missing an arm. Maybe after that first coaster that he was asked to leave someone was watching where we were going and making sure attendants knew to not allow us to ride. I don't know.
Having policies on rides to ensure safety is understandable, and we respect it. We walked the whole park looking at every ride, and only found one ride that posted a rule about having all 4 limbs. We looked at the Seaworld website and found a 64 pg accessibility guide that we missed initially, but that guide only mentioned one ride (Wave Breaker). We never would have bought season passes or went that day if we had known we couldn't ride the good rides. We have no interest in shows, we purchased the passes for thrill rides because we love them. My husband lost his arm decades a go and has been to every major theme park in the country and has NEVER been treated like he was by Sea World this day. Heck, we have been to this same SeaWorld in previous years and rode every ride without any issue.
All in all, as we see it, it's SeaWorld's right to refuse service to who they choose. We were disappointed for how the day we had looked forward to turned out, but what can you do? So we leave and decide to just call when we get home for a refund. We expected Sea World would understand and give us our money back. We spent $277 in season passes, and enjoyed them for 2 hours. We called and have been told they will not refund us because we used the passes. What a slap in the face. I tried to get contact with a manager but was told they didn't have that info to give me and could not transfer me to anyone else. I don't know what else I can do but write a review and hope someone high up at Seaworld sees this.
Great
I really enjoyed my visit, the food is fantastic, I would like it if there where more aquariums
most animals there suffer from zoochosis
i absolutely adore sea animals and i’ve always been huge on not supporting zoos or aquariums that don’t treat the animals well, but i was surprised with this trip to seaworld and just tried to not ruin the trip but the amount of symptoms of zoochosis i saw was concerning. in the shark exhibit there is barely enough room for the sharks to freely swim around and the same with the turtles. in the turtle exhibit there was one turtle that was stuck in a rock decor and could not get out and another turtle kept bumping into the wall trying to swim past it. in the orca showing you can see past where the other orcas are kept and their fins were bent fully downwards. floppy fins are the biggest sign an animal has zoochosis, which is something i highly recommend everyone to research before going to any place where animals are kept so you can understand the physical signs these animals are displaying. there were so much more examples of zoochosis i saw during my day there it was just really depressing to see and i just wanted to enlighten others about this.
Seaworld Orlando are still operating…
Seaworld Orlando are still operating due to past years credibility. Lines in chaos, almost fight with visitors, confusion on admittance for toddlers and children, internet web mentions children 3 to 6 free, but what a surprise when we arrived on the famous gate after 45 minutes on a chaotic lines to be rejected ''go back to gate to purchase additional tickets ... With great frustration we went online again purchased two additional tickets. Due to huge lines we did only 2 attractions .. the food ?? disgusting .. only to get accumulated cholesterol .... Cost of this ? over $1000 !! Was it worth it ? NOOOOOO
