A month ago, I purchased hormone therapy on this site and the price was rather high, but I accepted that because the description said it included the cost of the doctor consultation. However, later I wanted to follow up with another prescription, and of course it was necessary to proceed with another consultation. Following the prompts on the website, I paid €50 for a consultation with the doctor. The doctor made recommendations for three new medications. Then when I saw the bill, I was being charged the highest prices I’ve ever seen for these medications. A 3-month supply of oestrogel was €222, two packs of estrogen cream were €240, and two tubes of tretinoin for €150. In the US, where healthcare is the most expensive in the world, I never had to pay this much for estradiol and tretinoin, even at retail price. It’s one thing if the price is set that high to cover a doctor consultation, but I already had the consultation. I wrote to the service to ask why the price is always elevated to include a consultation and received the response that this is simply how much the medication costs. I asked if I can get a copy of the doctor’s prescriptions so I can order the medication from another pharmacy that charges normal prices. They told me no, my consultation does not include receiving a prescription, only a recommendation to buy their medications at their prices. I wasted €50 and received nothing for it. Stay away from this business. It would cost you far less to see a reputable doctor in person in your geographic area and then go to a local pharmacy, even if you have no health insurance coverage.
