I would not buy Victoria Toffee Tin. Not because it didn't taste good, because it was too thick to break. The included hammer was cute, but useless and added unnecessary weight to packaging. I spent a... See more

Sugar free suckers
I really think you should make different flavors of sugar free suckers. Right now you only have one flavor and I think they would see great!
Thanks Penny

Online Order: Frustrating follow-up but eventual good outcome
I placed two orders recently. Unbeknownst to me, one of them was cancelled by See’s. I only learned about this when I called them to make an enquiry regarding the strange empty status notice shown against my first order in the Orders section on my online account. To resolve the issue, I was advised to get in touch (via email only) with the See’s Finance team and to give them my phone number so they could call me. I did so but received zero response, not even an auto acknowledgement of my email, and I never received a callback. I was under time pressure as I needed to receive my order before travelling overseas, and so with this in mind, I placed my orders over two weeks in advance of my travel date. I followed up multiple times with the Finance Team and also via the Feedback portal on the website and phone calls. Nothing worked, no response, no solution and time was ticking away.
Out of pure frustration I ended up on Trustpilot and saw that Linda from See’s was at least responding to customer’s concerns, in a positive and patient manner. So I contacted Linda directly, and although she was on leave, I redirected my enquiry to the alternative contact details provided in her out-of-office message.
In the meantime, I gave up waiting for Finance to get back to me and went ahead and placed a new order for the items that had been cancelled, but I had to pay express shipping charges so that I received our package before travel. As luck would have it, the only way I could avail of express shipping was to order a warm-weather-sensitive item (which I did not want...however…I did so). I relayed all this in my messages to Diane and her colleagues.
Now although I never received a direct reply from Diane or her colleagues, action did happen, and I promptly received a notice of refund for both the express shipping charges and the chocolate that I really didn’t want or need!
So all-in-all, the online follow-up experience I had was pretty frustrating but the eventual outcome was good. I had zero problems with the other orders and we all are delighted with our Lollypops & Brittle! So, when there are no issues, ordering online from See’s is great, but when something does go wrong, be prepared for some time-consuming hassle, and if you are directed to contact Finance, forget it / just reach out to Diane and the team to swiftly resolve your issue behind the scenes!

Great packaging for summer temperatures!
See’s Candy has delicious candy and the best customer service. Martha was very pleasant and addressed my concerns. I received a well packaged box with 3 cold packs that were still cool. The insulated packaging in plastic was an improvement. The package arrived as scheduled. It is best to be home when the package is delivered with the Florida heat.

Love Sees But...
Love Sees, but the last couple times I have been, some of the pieces of candy have tasted old and stale. Not sure could be old from not selling during covid. But was quit disappointing as they are not cheap.

Excellent Service
Received excellent service today. Order was placed last week and arrived today. I had contacted See's,via email prior to the order arriving, with a question about my order and received a response within minutes. Customer representative's response was polite and friendly. This was a much better experience than the one I had this past Christmas (which I left a review for at that time). Also, I always receive great service at See's stores in California. The candy is still delicious. Definitely will continue to buy from them.

I used to adore Sees’s chocolates
I used to adore Sees’s chocolates: the nuts and chews box, the foil-wrapped milk chocolates, and the peanut-butter lollipops.
Now I understand that they got rid of the peanut butter to accommodate those with peanut allergies (though what a shame). However, in the past few years I’ve noticed that the chocolate just isn’t as good anymore. Below, I read that the recipe hasn’t changed, but I can’t believe that. Something has changed in the recipe, a source, or the production that has caused the chocolate to go from melty deliciousness to waxy. It used to be a struggle to resist eating a whole bag of foil-wrapped milk chocolate, now it’s easy to resist.
And whatever you do, don’t buy from their stands at the airport. It’s always a every stale.
Too bad. It used to be a favorite Christmas tradition to stock up on See’s. Not anymore.
I really hope they’ll figure out what went wrong and try to remedy it.

Problems ordering
I tried to buy some Father's Day gifts from See's candy today and their credit card system kept saying there was a problem processing, so I called and tried to place my order and the same issues was happening. I used 3 different cards and none of them worked. I called my bank everything on their end was fine. I did notice that the credit card information form on their website already had an expiration date, which was weird. I tried to put in my expiration date and it seemed like it took it, but my bank stated that they were notified of the purchase because the expiration date was wrong. One of the two See's candy representatives I spoke to gave me the email to the finance department. I have emailed them and haven't gotten a reply, not even an email stating they received my email.

What is the strange obsession with See’s in California?
What is the strange obsession with See’s around here? Ever since I moved to California, I could expect gifts of See’s candy at every Christmas, Mother’s Day, you name it. I should be grateful, right? Free chocolate, not cheap, gifts by people just trying to be nice and give what they think is a favorite treat.
Except that the stuff is absolutely terrible! Weird, unappetizing boxed chocolates that taste cheap and lollies with good flavors but made in such an awkward shape that you can barely eat it without drooling.
We got a simple milk chocolate bar this year for Mother’s Day at my church. It was very kind of them, must have cost a lot for so many. I tried eating it, thinking maybe I just didn’t care for the particular flavors I’d had in the past and that a simple bar of chocolate would be okay. It wasn’t. It tasted freaking weird, sickly sweet, and like something odd had been added that I couldn’t identify. I asked my kids if they wanted the rest. They ate it but even the youngest agreed that it was terrible.
Seriously, we have Trader Joe’s and Godiva, Lindt and Ghirardelli. There’s no excuse for buying See’s anymore with so many good chocolates out there.

A very kind co-worker purchased a one-pound box of Bridge Mix for us. I used to be a big fan of Brach's Bridge Mix but stopped buying theirs after they changed their mix. I have to say that this mix was not that great. The chocolate was just about the same as the cheap Brach's I used to buy and the mix, well, just boring. No coconut pieces, maybe there never were. Just a boring mix IMO. Did tell the co-workers that this is not cheap candy and did thank the co-worker for his kindness giving it to us. Not sure I would purchase anything else for myself.

My Foundation participated in their Easter ‘yummy fundraiser’ . What a joke. We were promised our profit checks 10-14 days after it ended. It has been almost a month. Emailed them twice and now they refer me to another department which has totally ignored my emails. My customers paid up front when orders were placed . Never again Sees.

Fraudulent See's gift card
In late 2017 I purchased See's gift cards in Costco. I did not use them for quite a while since in 2018 I moved and they closed their nearby store. Recently tried to use it at a newly opened location about 20 miles away in Manteca and was told it was zero balance. I did not accept that and pursued contacting them. They looked up the purchase record and said I made 3 purchases in San Bernadino where I have never been. I wrote them that it is fraudulent and impossible for me to have made those purchases. I am waiting to hear back but so far no satisfaction. I will also say the candy I got in Manteca (I paid cash for that) was not very fresh. Maybe the pandemic is responsible?

Not what it use to be
Not what it use to be. I now see corn syrup in ingredients. They are still charging the same for a much inferior product. I won’t be back and I am
So sad. Another part of our culture in decline. Something new and pure and worth the price will replace it; for sure. I will wait

Late deliveries
I placed an order online with See's Candies on a Saturday morning. The box was not delivered to a friend in Michigan until 9 days later. I had delivery problems with Christmas gifts in 2020 as well. I don't plan to order from See's again.

The candy is fine.
But ordering my mail is a drag.
It's slow. It's really, really , really , really slow.
It's not sent the next business day. It. is. Not.
Or the second day. Or the third day, or the fourth day..
Eventually....though. I hope.
The box was thrashed, but, that's UPS.
I've tried twice. I won't again. You can pre-order at your local Sees. And just go get it. It's better not have to rely on the "Sent next business day"worry about where a seasonal and perishable item is coming .....or not.

So i went to Douglas Blvd Branch, Roseville. There were 3 of them working. The other lady was filling supplies, the second lady was with a customer and the 3rd lady was with a customer who i think is trying to pay. I was in line next to this customer who wants to pay but i guess she is not done yet. SO the lady who was filling in supplies, has asked a customer who just came in, ignored me totally who was in line first, obviously she saw me holding on to 2 packs of chocolate i wanted to buy, so since she ignored me, i returned the 2 chocolates and left. Talking about good customer service eh...

They take your $ but don’t send candy
Every order is messed up. Often they only send half the order & drag their feet to send the rest. A third of the time they don’t send anything but keep the money for a month refusing to refund. The rest of the time the candy arrives broken or melted. Anything is better. Customer service is very rude.

I quite buying See's candies as quality was changing. I am 74 so I have had my share of the candy. I noticed the the raspberry liquor is weak. The chocolate of the molasses chips was Sinkers quality, and Yes! the nut chews were great. I was pushed into buying a Heart, it was 90% less quality than 18 years ago.

A Follow Up to a See's Candies Review
On Feb 19Th, I gave See's Candie a one star review of a horrible Valentine's experience. Since then the See's company has reached out to me to rectify-improve the situation.
Showing that they care has changed my rating to a 5 star. Quality of product was never the issue!
