Huge Disappointment

I've purchased from Select Blinds many times, but this time was a huge disappointment. Click2Fit Total Blackout Roller Shade was the product. One would think this to be an easy install. Anything but...
The instructions & 20 second video were useless. I called to explain my frustration. I was sent yet another video which had an install entirely different from the 20 second one. In the end I was able to install but not in the specific way that either video showed. It's definitely a two person install with a lot of trial and error.
Finally, the pictures on SelectBlinds do not show the frames entirety. The fluffy guides are an eye soar when the blind is in the open position.

I love the motorized blackout cellular…

I love the motorized blackout cellular shade we received. Mounting was easy. However, navigating the online installation is confusing. You have to refer to 2 different links and read through several times to understand the connectivity to the app. Now that it is connected it operates beautifully. The app allows for timed settings and sundown/sunup automation. Highly recommended

I am very disappointed in the quality…

I am pretty disappointed in the quality of the blinds I received. I did order the blinds without lining ( since we didnt need extra light filtering) but the back side of the blind is poorly constructed. The color of the blinds i ordered is a medium tan color but the back side has bright white trim and taping covering the seams. This is the side of the blind that will face the road so everyone will see it. It is very obvious and is very cheap looking. Not something i would expect for $1,000 blinds ( for 3 windows).

They do not have replacement parts

They do not have replacement parts. If you need a replacement motor for a blind you need to replace the entire blind. I purchased these 6 yrs ago and am now having to replace the blinds for the entire room for the 2nd time because each time the battery on one blind would not hold a charge. Both times they told me that the replacement blind I need has been discontinued so for the room to match I have to replace all. DO NOT BUY. Maybe manually operated but not the motorized blinds.

Never again.

I chose this company due to its good reviews, but was sorely disappointed. At checkout it said shipping was within 5 days, of course they don't tell you until after they order that's after they are made. It took them over 2 weeks to ship them and another 2 weeks before they arrived. I contacted customer service multiple times and only received evasive BS answers. The whole month it took them to arrive we had no window coverings or privacy. I will never order here again.

Great customer service and warranty

The instructions were very clear and the turnaround very good. First time install a little challenging, but doable and got much easier after the first one. The best part was the warranty. We had a spot on one of the blinds, and the company was amazing at getting us a new one extremely quickly. Great customer service!

i will not order from selectblinds again- home depot is easier

quality, cost and experience- I would order from home depot from now on. When comparing cost and quality I believe Home depot is right in line with selectblinds. However, Home depots customer service and overall shopping experience far exceeds selectblinds
