Avoid Select Cars & Commercial – Do Your Research First

Based on my experience, I would avoid Select Cars & Commercial at all costs. I personally do not consider this dealer trustworthy and would strongly recommend doing thorough research before buying any vehicle from them.

I would also advise people not to rely solely on the current Select Cars & Commercial Google reviews. In my opinion, some of the recent 5-star reviews look questionable and do not reflect the experience I have had.

If you are researching Select Cars & Commercial, I would recommend also searching Google for Net Cars To You Ltd, where you can find a number of older negative reviews. From what I can see, the business is now operating with a newer Google profile under the Select Cars & Commercial name.

Do your own research, read the negative reviews as well as the positive ones, and make an informed decision before handing over any money.

Avoid Select Cars & Commercial

I would strongly advise people to be very cautious when dealing with Select Cars & Commercial.

I was told the car had 2 keepers, but I later discovered it had actually had 4. Just 3 days after buying the car, it broke down with engine warning lights and gearbox issues.

I requested a refund, but this was rejected and communication with Select Cars & Commercial has been extremely difficult.

The car was eventually taken back for what I was told would be a repair, and I have now been without the vehicle for around four months with the matter still unresolved.

After months of trying to get this sorted, I am now in the process of filing a court claim.

Based on my experience with Select Cars & Commercial, I would not buy from them again. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying a vehicle from Select Cars & Commercial does their research carefully first.

Select Cars & Commercial – AVOID based on my experience

I purchased a vehicle online from Select Cars & Commercial after it was advertised as being in “super condition for its age.”

Within hours of driving away from Select Cars & Commercial, I discovered multiple issues with the vehicle and formally rejected it.

Since then, communication from Select Cars & Commercial has been extremely poor and I have had to involve both the finance company and the broker.

An independent inspection has now been carried out as part of the finance company’s investigation, and the matter is still ongoing.

There was also an issue with the deposit charged by Select Cars & Commercial. The finance company confirmed figures showing that I had been overcharged. The dealer did not resolve this directly, so the broker has now refunded me the difference themselves and is pursuing the dealer separately.

I also left a genuine Google review about my experience with Select Cars & Commercial. That review was reported as fake and removed, despite me being a genuine customer with a finance agreement, purchase documentation and an active complaint.

I find it extremely concerning when a genuine negative review from a real customer is challenged as fake instead of the underlying complaint being resolved.

What should have been a straightforward purchase from Select Cars & Commercial has turned into weeks of complaints, chasing, inconvenience and disruption.

This review is based entirely on my own documented experience and I will update it once the finance company’s investigation has concluded.
