Cameron is an incredible acting coach, especially for young actors. He has an amazing ability to explain a scene and the emotions behind it in a way that a child can truly understand and then translate naturally into their performance. Whether the material is light, funny and happy or much darker and more emotional, he knows how to communicate exactly what the scene needs in a way that makes sense to a young actor.
We have worked with Cameron for both acting lessons and audition coaching, and I can genuinely see growth in my kids’ abilities after every session with him. He doesn’t simply tell them how to deliver a line. He helps them understand their character, why they are saying what they’re saying, and what they should be feeling in that moment.
Cameron is also a perfectionist in the absolute best way. He genuinely cares about every audition and takes the time to get the very best performance out of each child. At the same time, he keeps the process fun, encouraging and comfortable, which is so important when working with kids.
We have consistently seen some of our strongest callback results from auditions Cameron has coached. Most recently, he coached my son for an audition for a major network television series, which he went on to book!
Cameron is patient, incredibly knowledgeable, invested in his students and truly wonderful with kids. I always feel confident sending in a tape after we’ve worked with him, and I cannot recommend him enough.
