He screened out most of the 'dreamers' and time-wasters, and helped in negotiating an acceptable eventual sale price for the assets and stock of our business, which has allowed me to retire, happy in the knowledge that the products we had developed, and our customers, are in very good hands in their new home. In the current economic climate, when so few larger businesses are in acquisition mode, owing to the cost of employing staff and escalating cost of doing business generally, while not making our fortunes, the outcome was a positive one for our very niche manufacturing business.
