SEND a MEAL to my Cousin
My cousin was very impressed with delivery and FOOD. The chicken pot pie was thawed when she received so she had to call to have replaced. But replaced with out question and the food was great!

Ordering was simple

Ordering was simple, I was skeptical as I was sending this to my ill grandparents in another state and the price is a bit high, but everything came as promised and intact if the food taste delicious we will be using the service again very soon.

They came right on time

They came right on time. I sent to my friend who's wife had surgery.
He called me thrilled at the "comfort food" that arrived. It felt so good to know I was at least helping relieve stress in some small way with a warm and hopefully tasty meal that reminded them of home cooking. Although I do not know how it tasted - I plan to ask - I recommend this service!

Easy to order

I live in TX but originally from NJ. My Mom has battled cancer for over 15 years, but as of this writing, cancer is taking over. My Dad and sister are there taking care of her until the end. Due to COVID-19 I am unable to travel there. But I wanted to send a meal. I saw this Send A Meal it was very easy to send the meal. I can not tell if my sister scheduled meal delivery yet, but on my end it was very easy to send the meal. I am happy with this innovative concept.

We received 2 large boxes

We received 2 large boxes, as a gift, and the dry ice in both boxes was completely evaporated. The food was still cold but most was completely thawed. The food was actually shipped from a third party so I feel like the error was on that end or Fed Ex. I reported to Send a Meal and they replaced the dessert that had melted and leaked out and credited the gift giver the cost of shipping.

I ordered the original marinated ribs…

I ordered the original marinated ribs and smashed red potatoes for my parents for their 51st wedding anniversary, and they loved it! They were able to enjoy them over several meals because there was so much food. Thanks for making me look like a thoughtful daughter! The only issue was the high sodium in the mashed potatoes.

Convenient way to help a friend

It was easy to select the items I wanted to send to my friend and send it to their address. I wish there was a way to create a signup list and send it to multiple people to coordinate meals (like Amazon Wish List). This would have made this process even easier to coordinate. Also, there are a few confusing points during checkout. One spot displays "Shipping to yourself or shipping to a gift recipient?" and I think it is meant to help you select shipping to your billing address or another location, but it is not really connected to that choice, so it introduces confusion. Overall, a very good experience and a great service to have when helping friends through a tough time.
