I cannot recommend SEN swim enough, a fantastic swim school with amazing instructors.

I have made a formal Email to the SENSWIM team as regards a member(s) of the team last Sunday as regards a complaint made to the parents of a 11 year old Autistic boy as regards myself at the Janet adogoke pool in White City, Shepherds Bush as being CONFRONTATIONAL which is an ABSOLUTE lie considering I was chatting on behalf of the parents to the SEN leader, Joe. I have since seen an Email to the parents suggesting the above when all that was spoken about was his ear problem, the fact that he cannot continue the boys lesson due to the fact t5hat he has '' an exceptional case'' to handle and that he has passed the boy over to an alternative instructor. We also discussed the time left that social services had funded which was until the end of May and also commented that he could not involve himself with the said department. I do not regard this a CONFONTATIONAL. I have also been accused of looking at women and at 75 I do not think I would have the least bit of interest in other swimmers of an adult nature. i HAVE ALSO BEEN ACCUSED OF ' TALKING TO OTHER PARENTS ' !!! I can categorically say that I have never ever spoken to other parents. That was left to the mother who was always accompanying me.
The mother is badly upset over these accusations as is the father when he received the SENSWIM Email of the accusations against me. This is a denial of justice to the young lad who has nothing to do with all of this. A disgusting accusation(s) against myself for purposes unknown to the parents and myself. Joe refuses to answer my Email apparently and spoke to the parents verbally about all of this.
A transcript of the Email to the parents and the reply to the SENSWIM team of the accusations of which they refuse to reply to. The largest loser id the boy of all of this and for no reason. Please read below:

Dear (name of father),

After an internal review it has been decided that we will not be offering you a place for the summer term 2023. We are in the process of refunding the council for the lessons they have paid for, for the summer term and will email you confirmation once they have received it.

The final decision has been made after careful consideration following confrontational behaviour from the gentleman accompanying your son to his lesson on Sunday 19th March.

We try and avoid terminating any students swimming lessons within a term, wherever possible. However, due the nature of the most recent reports which involved confrontational behaviour towards staff members and parents of other students, we can no longer offer you our services, effective immediately.

The money for the remaining 2 sessions of this term will be refunded today.

To the Admin Team,

I am the gentleman that this Email is referring to and I can categorically say that I was NOT in any way confrontational but was enquiring about (boys name) future swimming plans which I was requested to do BY THE PARENTS as only one of those would be present.
I have always been polite and there was NO sign of ANY aggravation whatsoever. I am a stickler for detail and care about Adams future as much as the parents.

I would therefore like to know in which aspect I was CONFRONTATIONAL as I am the accused!
This has upset the parents no end for ABSOLUTELY no reason whatsoever.

my son was attending sen swim services but suddenly was excluded without any explanation and when we asked for reply no response has been received what kind of services is this ? scam
we are waiting for further action from journalist and possible court action if our matter is not resolved

My 18 year old Autistic son, has been attending Sen Swim for a long time now and the staff are great. His instructor Joe is amazing, He always takes time to understand his needs and works with him to relive any anxieties. My son is now confident in the water and still learning new skills by the team. We come back after each term as these lessons are valuable to him.
I would highly recommend Sen swim for your child/ young adult.

Sons done 1 week crash course. Instructors were excellent. Very patient and used different sorts of communication methods with the boys. The boys loved the lessons and have grown in confidence.

Best swimming instructors ever, my son who is non-verbal autistic really loved the 2-week crash course. He showed lots of progress and had such a good time. I strongly recommend them, a great team who have good knowledge of children with SEN

My son has had 3 terms with senswim and I love them. He's come on brilliantly, but most importantly he loves going. He is really non-verbal but says 'swimming' to indicate that he wants to go.

We have been through a number of different swimming instructors for my daughter and I was beginning to wonder whether we would ever find someone who can meet her needs, but then we discovered SEN Swim - and a whole handful of dedicated and competent instructors. They are all very patient, caring and kind. In contrast to other companies we've been with SEN Swim are always responsive to messages and requests and work very hard to taylor their service to the children's needs. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

my son was scared to enter the swimming pool without me and now he can't wait to go the weekly class he enters the pool without any help, he really enjoying every class and he became confident and loves the water excellent professional teachers, I recommend them if you have a child who needs a special need couch.

An amazing, professional team who work really hard in a differentiated way with every young person. My son absolutely loves his weekly lesson and I can't recommend Sen Swim enough.

My son is non verbal, 6 year old ASD diagnosed with severe sensory processing and behaviour challenges, the team has been most amazing and accomodating, I was very apprehensive before he began, they made me feel at ease straight away, he started from not wanting to enter the pool to now never wanting to leave the pool. Carla his swimming instructor is super kind with a big heart that can fill the pool, my little boy loves her to bits and I highly reccomend this company to teach children with special needs.
