There should be an option to leave fewer stars than 1. Sentinel Vinyl is now The Disc Vault. Different name, same issue.

I ordered an album in early 2023 and never received it. It was so long ago that I actually forgot that I ordered it from them, until they sent me an email with a code allowing me to choose an album for around the same value as the product that I originally ordered. Purchase with the code went fine and looked legit.

Until the order was canceled unceremoniously and without explanation a week later. Now, I'm out $70 and have a vendor that won't respond to my messages about the order, and won't compensate for their poor/failed service.

This business should no longer BE IN business. They don't know how to conduct business properly.

I placed an order over a year ago for 1 record. They never fulfilled the order. 10 months after I placed it, they canceled the order and never notified me. Then, the other day they sent an email about all the issues they've had and offered a 100% discount code to get a replacement. I tried to be understanding, and used the code. It still charged shipping, when I already paid for shipping on the original order that they never refunded. Whatever though, that was only like $6. But then a few days later they sent me an email saying I canceled the new replacement order. I most certainly did not, it was them that canceled it. So now, they've stolen $6 more dollars from me on top of what they took and didn't refund originally. Super shady business. Avoid at all costs.

Same problem that has been describe in the review over the past two years. Made the mistake of prepaying for a record that I never got. They cancelled the order but no email and no refund. Then they send out a lame whiny email about being overwhelmed and provide a free code only to cancel the code two days later. I tried using the code and had to pay for shipping then they canceled my order and kept the shipping $$. If they are not a scam then they are really inept.

You won’t get what you ordered. They sent an email for a free record because they didn’t send out what people ordered in the past. Cancelled the free record today. Just scammers all around.

I ordered No Need for Alarm about a year ago and never got it despite contacting them

Scam website. I ordered a vinyl, never received it or a refund. Year + later have only received 2 emails from the “company”. Both stating non sense. Second one offering free product code that magically still requires cc for shipping. One giant scam.

I waited months for my order. I would contact support to check in and they said "1 more week" each time. I then asked for a refund, they took a week to get back to me and asked if I wanted store credit. I again stated I wanted a refund. Another week goes by and they say I should receive it in a few days.

A month went by without the refund. I contacted support and they told me PayPal wouldn't let them and to contact them.

PayPal said they were lying and that that they should be able to refund me no matter what. This makes me think they sent me a falsified screenshot of their "failed" attempt.

I am now working with my bank and PayPal to get my money back.

AVOID!!! They are clearly a scam. This should be 0 stars. I ordered two records back in July and now it’s December — still nothing. I contacted them in September and a response I got claimed that it was on back order and that I should get it eventually. I kept contacting with no response. I regret not checking Trustpilot or BBB because there are numerous complaints. It’s easy to find the owner’s name and based off what I’ve read online, he clearly doesn’t give a damn. This site needs to be shut down.

I sent them an email and the said they would give me a refund 10 days later still nothing!
They keep changing there name from The disc valut to Sentinel vinyl then back the thediscvalut!

why?!?!?!!? to continue scamming people!

Order records at the beginning of 2024 and have not received them. Asked to cancel the order and receive a refund about 6 months ago and have received nothing from them.

I tried to buy two records from here for my partners and my anniversary in September...it is now December, I have reached out 4 times asking for updates, and I've gotten nothing. In fact, I saw yesterday that they have rebranded to "The Disc Vault"...but still have the Sentinel Vinyl support email up.

Absolute waste of time and money, reported them to the BBB today.

Nevershipped the records, never will reply to requests. Total scam.

Ordered an item in May of 2023. It was in stock when placed, but I received an email saying it was on back order and they were waiting for stock from the label. Continued to follow up every few months. Would receive the same message and wouldn't refund my money. Now I receive an automated message telling me I can request a refund or swap out an item on the order page. The order page CLEARLY states that my order can't be changed on the site and to contact support at email - the same automated noreply email address.

Ordered two records from them in February of 2023 and still have not received the albums or any refund in over a year. Beware of this company there are many similar complaints I found after researching.

Waited for three weeks for an item in-stock to ship out but it never did. Since I had used Paypal the refund was issued quickly. SCAM!!!

If I could give half a star I would. Ordered an album months ago. I had to stay on top of them let forget about my order. I think that's their plan.

I called about a refund. Instead they offered a discount on another album. Not interest, please refund my money.

They supposedly refunded less than what was originally purchased to an account that isn't associated with me. In the email correspondence (cannot talk to a person live), I just get the auto response. I'm one email, I was told to contact my bank.

Do not order from sentinel vinyl. I ordered a record in December of 2002 and another in march of 2023 and have not received either. When I contact support they assure me they will come in in the next month or 2 but here were are almost 2 years after the first order and nothing. Total scam site.

I sent them $ 231 for several records, and got a scammy looking confirmation. All the items they'd listed as "in stock" were suddenly on back order, and they claimed it'd be 2 months(!) before my order would ship.

I cancelled and am waiting for my refund. This company is a scam. The owner (listed as Josh Faye) has a fake Facebook page and doesn't seem to actually exist in real life. The address listed as their address shows photos of an empty storefront.

This place is a scam. They simply do not ship records. Once you cancel your order they will offer a refund on a gift card - they will never send you a record and they will never return payment. Reported to FTC as fraudulent.

Have been waiting on a record for almost a year with little communication at all. When I reach out they say wait a week to a month or so. I’ve been patient but this is ridiculous! If you don’t have the record then don’t advertise you have it in stock and string people along for profit.
