I attended the two day SEO + Adwords Optimizer training with two colleagues.
As a direct-to-consumer marketer I have experience with SEO, SEM, Display, Affiliate, Email, etc. but typically media buys and the heavy SEO/SEM execution have been managed by a dedicated internal team or outside agency.
I wanted deeper experience to understand the history of these channels, basic set up strategies for a new product or brand, how to quickly evaluate your own brand or competitor's online marketing with free or paid tools and what questions to ask and direction to provide when managing a 3rd party agency.
SEO Optimizers not only met all my SEO/SEM class goals, they provided insights into a broad range of online marketing strategies including Affiliate, Re-targeting, etc.
The class structure and presentation were well organized but we easily moved back and forth between the presentation and a range of online tools and student selected brand examples.
I would highly recommend this course for junior online marketing staff that want to develop their core skills as well as seasoned executives that want to understand the underbelly of online marketing campaigns.
