Scam, 0% customer service, not compliant to GDPR Regulations
I liked their games a lot till they decided to scam me, starting a year ago.
A year ago I bought some package with keys through sofort and adyen.com payment platforms. Everything went well, I received my package with keys.
3 days later my account got blocked.
To unblock my account I had to pay more than double the amount I paid for the bought package.
As there was a double exp weekend active at that time (only twice a year back then) I didn't feel like missing this one out so I just paid for the unblocking of my account, feeling I would receive a refund anyway.
I contacted support and asked for the billing details, I did not receive them, Jagex simply claimed my bank has asked for a chargeback. My bank isn't allowed to do things without my knowledgement so therefor impossible, and indeed my bank told me the chargeback came from Jagex itself.
(The same story when I contacted Adyen.com who first blamed my bank and then started blaming myself for the chargeback - Sofort was the only party giving evidence of their innocence)
After awhile both parties started ignoring my mails even if I asked for evidence from their account.
This was the first time Jagex support refused to deliver me my personal data. (payment data)
I opened several threads on the forum to get help. (I needed to open several as every time I opened a new thread, this thread got closed..)
The money was 'gone', not my bank, nor Adyen.com or sofort or Jagex knew where it was, I was being ignored and had no freedom of speech on the forums.
I've quit the game for more than half a year till a few months ago I came back because of my cousin also playing the game.
In november my account got hijacked in a very bizarre way. (Again close to a double exp weekend)
There was no trace back to the hijacker, my antivirusprogram didn't show any breach and it looked more like a personal attack than a real hijack.
I secured all my accounts, notified support about the violation and requested my personal data.
Apparantly I'm not allowed to see IP-logins which isn't compliant to the GDPR regulations, the second time Jagex refuses me access to my personal data.

As I don't know any real life person playing this game besides my cousin and because of Jagex suspicious behaviour, I'm more inclined to think I've got hijacked by Jagex itself as they would know I'd pay bonds to get back in the game for the double exp weekend according to the payment of last year to unblock my account.
Certainly they're complicit to this violation holding back these reports.
Hijacking is a severe violation at which there's a prison sentence of atleast 12 months, complicity is as severe as the violation itself.
