I received my material but it was not what I thought I orders as I had clicked on the cottons I assumed it would be a cotton fabric the site also allowed me to buy something out of stock

Order not received and no response
I paid extra to get my order next day delivery. Currently 8 days later it has still not been recieved and after 2 emails i have had no response.
Edit. Company emailed and are looking into the order. Refunding the extra postage amd explained why they hadnt emailed back. Change of rating for the customer service

(4th response) it is only fair to your potential customers to have a full picture of your service which includes a one star review alongside all the 5* ones. They will make an informed choice based on reviews. Your responses to me, in this domain for all to see, are more detrimental to your business than anything I have written. I did not know the 4 items were unavailable until I guessed by receiving the refund. That is pretty much the end of the transaction and not a time to ‘contact you’ as you suggested. (3rd response) The part of this incident that maddens me the most, is that you have said “I FAILED to respond to e mails from you” - I did not receive these e mails. I don’t like being wrongly accused- far better that you admit fault and move on. How could my experience warrant any more than one star? I wish you luck in your new company. I won’t be purchasing from you again.

This combined with being wrongly sent a £30 voucher, meant for another of your customers, confirms my decision to post a one star review. I remain so disappointed with the service. I have followed you on Instagram and was so impressed with all you set out to do in your new shop.

I’m very sorry you feel this way, unfortunately some times errors get made, we are very busy and I sent you the gift voucher by mistake which I explained in my email to you and you responded and said you’d understood.
We also are extremely busy in the shop and online and unfortunately some of the items you’d ordered had ran out of stock and have been discontinued so this was out of our controll, as otherwise we would have just replenished our stock. Again, I did email you about this and gave you different options, but I did not receive a response from you, so rather than cancelling your full order, I refunded you for the out of stock items and sent the rest, to avoid further disappointment. These items have now been removed from our website to avoid this in future.
It saddens me that you feel the need to write a 1 star review for a company that works so very hard to offer a sewing/craft shop to this lovely community and we always try our hardest to help our customers the best way we can. I appreciate you were disappointed, but leaving bad reviews for a start up company is at times really not necessary, especially when we made a human error and suppliers let us down too.
There obviously was a miscommunication somewhere and my email got lost and did not reach you for some reason. Apologies if you were disappointed by this, but please note this could have very easily been resolved by contacting us directly rather than writing bad reviews. As a good will gesture, we could have offered a discount code and/or alternative products, as we really hate to disappoint our customers.

Had a wonderful time on the three day beginner course. Kathy is really welcoming and friendly, she explains things clearly and creates a lovely environment to learn and make! Would definitely recommend her classes, looking forward to attending the next one!!

Really enjoyed the beginner learn to sew 3 day course. Kathy was an excellent teacher, so friendly and patient. From never sewing before I have now made a cushion cover and some pj bottoms and can’t wait to make more. Have a new found love of sewing, and looking forward to doing more lessons. Thank you Kathy x

Teen Sewing Machine Workshop
We purchased a sewing machine class aimed at teenagers for our 12 yr old Niece for her birthday. She was absolutely delighted with the workshop and as an eager beginner, she produced the most beautiful bag of which she is very proud (and absolutely should be)

Really brilliant beginner class

It's surprising how much I now have the confidence to tackle after just one session - I've done alternations and even made some simple things. I am looking forward to booking another class to help me tackle stretchy fabric!

Prompt delivery of a stretch cotton fabric - I’ve been looking for a long time for this type of fabric. It’s good quality. I called into the shop before buying online, staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this shop.
