Sewroo began in May 2000, when our first ironing board covers were crafted at home and sold at local markets in Southport, Queensland. What started as a small, passionate venture quickly grew, with our first machinist joining in 2001 and Sewroo moving into its first dedicated headquarters soon after. By 2002, Sewroo expanded into shopping centres across Queensland, growing from one location to multiple sites each week. Around this time, our now well-loved outdoor peg bag was introduced, quickly becoming a customer favourite for its practicality and durability. In 2009, Sewroo launched its website, opening the doors to customers across Australia and around the world. Despite growing demand, we have remained committed to manufacturing locally in Southport, proudly supporting Australian-made quality over mass-produced imports. Over the years, Sewroo has built a strong reputation within the hospitality industry, supplying premium ironing board covers to hotels and government facilities. Our ability to customise products, including embroidered branding, has made us a trusted partner in both residential and commercial spaces. Since 2022, with a fresh perspective and a strong foundation, Sewroo continues to grow while staying true to its roots - quality craftsmanship, practical design, and genuine customer care.
