During my stay in Seychelles I spent a lot of time at the beach in Beau Vallon and really enjoyed the atmosphere there as my hotel was nearby. The place is beautiful and lively, but I kept thinking it would be nice to have more activities that connect visitors with local culture. like going out with local fishermen and learning how they catch fish would be a really memorable experience for tourists!
We used Seychelles Travel in September 2019 when we were let down by Virgin Holidays, and were absolutely 100% happy with their prompt and efficient service. Ive been wanting to write about this for a while, but with the Pandemic, a lot has gone on and as a small business, it was a tough 18months. I wish the best for all businesses during this horrible months, and will be wishing on my next holiday back to this amazing beautiful place, and will most definitely use this company again.

Booked a holiday before COVID-19 hit the UK and paid our deposit and flight costs. Eventually it looked as if our holiday would be cancelled due to COVID and we asked what would happen if they had to cancel our holiday. The company outright lied to us about the terms and conditions of our holiday and informed us that we would not receive any form of a refund at all and they would just keep our money!! After a long battle they agreed to pay us back for the flights but refused to give us our deposit back, however when the refund came for the flights it was nearly £200 short of the actual cost of the flight! When I contacted them about it they said they had taken "agency fees" out of the cost of the flight and refused to answer why they thought this was appropriate.
Eventually we came to a deadlock and we wanted to resolve the issue through an ombudsman but the company does not subscribe to ABTA or any other independent adjudicators so anything shy of taking them to court was pointless. In the end we decided not to pursue legal action and dropped the issue. On the whole the company was extremely unsympathetic and actually quite rude during a time which is difficult for everyone. The fact that they tried to lie to us to keep our money will forever be etched in my mind as the most outrageously hideous thing a travel company has ever tried to do.
1 star - would not book again. Will be going to the Seychelles with a different agent.
