This law firm takes 60% or more of the settlement amount

I used them for a case & was told that I would receive payment within 14 days of signing the agreement which I signed on the 8th of January 2026 ... I have been waiting on payment that I should have received already. It's passed the due date and I can't get no one to assist me & another thing is they told me & it's in the contract that they charge 40 percent of the settlement... the settlement was $37,500 and they said I would only get $5000 and they get the remainder
