I purchased the Sharp 6KG ES-FE610CZ-W front load washing machine in July 2024. Shortly after the warranty expired, it developed a loud noise. The local Sharp service team charged a fee equivalent to... See more

Terrible product, terrible customer service
We bought a Sharp microwave oven with grill (Model: YC-MG02U-S) in January 23 and, one year later, are about to dispose of it. Our advice to you, in short: DON'T BUY ONE!
It began to burn popcorn (which had previously cooked OK) and then a small savoury on 40% power for 4 minutes burnt so badly the room stank of acrid smoke and the new John Lewis plate it was on cracked in two.
Curry's directed us to UMC UK (Sharp customer services) who suggested we cook something else in the microwave(!!) or that the problem was the plate - in other words they're not taking responsibility, despite the MW being clean + lightly used.
We're much happier with the 20L Swan MW we've replaced it with. Prefer the interior as it's white not grey like the Sharp, has a brighter light, and a less incessant beeper + of course it cooks evenly with far less condensation and doesn't burn things.
Extremely disappointed with Sharp and Curry's despite longevity of previous Sharp MW. This one doesn't come close.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful, do not buy anything from sharp, it will be faulty straight away, the worst company in the world or the universe, washing machine lasted 1 hour and gave me an electric shock
Faulty new microwave, zero response from Sharp after 3 weeks.
Faulty new microwave. Zero response from online form. Emailed them instead. Still zero response. After 3 weeks looked for phone number on their own customer service page. Number doesn't work. Googled another number. It rang but when you press 1 to get through to microwave support it says call rejected, contact the systems administrator, or something like that. £120 down the drain it would seem!
I bought a Sharp tumble dryer in…
I bought a Sharp tumble dryer in January 2023. It developed a noise similar to a plane taking off. Very difficult to get an appointment and had to go through the original supplier to get one. Engineer came on 14/12/23 and said a new motor was needed. I am still in dispute with Sharp as the engineer actually reported nothing wrong. Was promised an uplift for 2/2/23 but they have changed their minds and want to send another engineer. Watch this space

I have a jvc and don’t have all this messing around with Google assistant sharp need to get there finger out and sort this out
It states all over the box saying Google assistant and ok Google but nowere it says you need a android phone to use this facility
DO NOT BUY THE SHARP TVS WHAT A WASTE OF TIME
R861 Combination Microwave broken less than 2 years
Bought a R861 Combination Microwave in May 2022. Countdown timer freezes and it is now tripping our electrics. Given it is clearly a risk, out of warranty and customer service reviews will scrap it and go back to basic model (not sharp)
Bought a 50 inch Sharp 4k tv from Asda…
Bought a 50 inch Sharp 4k tv from Asda £300 crap, the screen is forever freezing when I'm watching Netflix, Nowtv, Disney or Amazon prime dies it 3 or 4 times a day, it has nothing to do with wifi quality as it has full reception which I'd have saved a bit longer and bought elsewhere
Horrendous customer Service
Horrendous customer Service. Dryer went down at Xmas and on the 9th of Jan still no attendance under warranty. Received a call to confirm a 3rd party would contact me, still nothing a week later.
Best stay away from this brand and buy another.
Horrible product and no help. AVOID
Bought a SHARP washer and dryer. Broke down within 5 months. Contacted SHARP as I was still within warranty, was extremely hard to get hold of customer service and when I did, they were very disrespectful and didn’t seem willing to help. After contacting multiple time, finally an engineer came to look at it and change parts. It stopped working again within days. Had to go through the same thing, try to get hold of customer service and re do things. Again, appalling customer service - just plain rude and unwilling to help. Got the parts changed again but we stopped using it. Couldn’t return it either to Curry’s as they don’t handle this and had to contact SHARP for this. But guess what? Sharp customer service barely picks up. So it’s just sitting at the garage - wasting space. Our product wasn’t cheap either so this was a very expensive mistake. I would recommend everyone to just avoid this company.
Washing machine which doesn't wash.
Bought a Sharp washing machine with 3 year warranty. However when I had a problem and tried to contact Sharp, I was ignored. In addition, the laundry is *so* economical on water, the clothes only get slightly damp and don't come out clean.
I wash on cold only, which needs more water to agitate the laundry better and wash dirt out and this machine doesn't have an option for cold washing with extra fill. I solved it by running a hose into the drawer and filling manually, which is time consuming, taking up to 3 minutes to get enough water into the drum. You'd think in these times of being green, and high electricity costs, than an extra fill cold water wash would be possible. Water's cheaper than electricity and heating cold water costs a lot of money.
The machine is *very* noisy on a spin too. Sounds like a helicopter taking off and no matter *how* level it is, the drum bounces about and makes the machine dance across the floor.
I'm used to Samsung which had more laundry options and didn't bounce about. The jumping and bouncing has smashed *loads* of tiles on the floor. So much so that I need to completely redo the floor. It would have been cheaper in the long run to buy Samsung again.
Perhaps this washing machine is designed to wash only clean clothes, making them smell fresh with a small bit of water and some detergent. It's certainly not man enough to cope with a smallholding's mud, grease, stains, dog and pony slobber and more and cotton rugs and pet towels put down for an elderly incontinent cat and a couple of dribbly old ladies (dogs).
Shocking customer service the washer…
Shocking customer service the washer dryer has broken down due to the start button 3 times they know it’s a fault but won’t recall this was said to me by the engineer, on the 4th time I reported on the 4/12/23 they booked my repair then cancelled the repair due to no contact even though they emailed me and I responded on the day which was the 18/12/23 it’s now the 29/12/23 no repair can’t get though and my job has again been cancelled I, I will never buy a product from Sharp again complete cowboys disgusting customer service.

Sharp - Pacifica
Purchased a Sharp washing machine in February 2023.
It broke down on 27th October and I telephoned the helpline listed in the manual.
An engineer from Pacifica came out to look at it on 31st October. He said he would order parts needed and I received a text to say the repairs would take place on 17th November.
Received text on 15th November to say parts were delayed and repair would now take place on 24th November.
On 23rd November received another text saying repair would now take place on 29th November.
At this point I was so frustrated with all the cancellations and not being able to speak to anyone as lines are always busy or they cut you off. Had also paid out in excess of £150 at the launderette over the time I had been waiting for a repair so I had no choice but to buy another washing machine.
After numerous attempts I finally spoke to someone at Pacifica who told me to send proof of purchase of the original and new machines and she would action a refund. I sent this to the email address she provided the same day but have heard nothing back.
I also emailed Sharp and Pacifica on 5th December with all the details of my complaint but again, have had no reply.
Their customer service seems to be non existent and I am extremely disappointed with their treatment of the whole situation.
I would strongly recommend anyone to avoid using either Sharp or Pacifica as, in my experience, they are awful.
Awful never was spot on its slow…
Bought in April 2023.Awful never was spot on its slow unresponsive and utter crap. All my older televisions are much faster
Issues with repairs team
Currently dealing with repair issues on a 10 month old washing machine, inconsistent and unsatisfactory communication from seller and manufacturers repair team. Advised that a further (4th) visit will be required, after two failed repair attempts. Would not purchase or use again
Tumble dryer with 2 year warranty not…
Tumble dryer with 2 year warranty not working correctly after 1 year. Trying to contact Sharp impossible. Phone number never lets you get to speak to someone. Emails not answered. Waste of money.
Never using a Sharp product again (luckily my only purchase of a sharp product).
30months is not an old tv
I bought my 43" Sharp tv 30months ago. Which in the eyes of some might be old, to me it is not. I have just been informed the back light has gone. This will be a £150- £200 repair, and might not work, a new tv is just over £300. So in the bin goes a mass of plastic, and a new tv has to be bought. There are so many things wrong with this scenario, not least the well known electrical appliance built in expiration date. My last tv lasted 2hrs, because I dropped it 🙈. However, the one before that I had TEN years and it was still going strong, when I gifted it down the family, as a 'starter' tv. For this to fail in 30months is nothing but shoddy workmanship, and poor quality parts.
I'd say stay away for that alone, however there is also the lack of clarity on the Sharp website. Although they are not the only company guilty of that. I searched high and low for prices on their site, I still haven't found one. I am assuming I have,to go on a hunt down the rabbit hole, that is the internet to find sellers. Then I will have to jump from seller to seller to compare prices. Then back and forwards to find delivery dates. Not forgetting the search for ' do they deliver to Scottish Islands', or are we classed as 'international' or 'overseas'.
In summary poor quality merchandise, not user friendly website, and no sign of customer service.
You can tell a rubbish company on Trustpilot very simply, they never respond to feedback.
Customer service not functional
Customer service as far as I can tell does not function. I have requested an uplift number for a repair, they deliberately put me through to an incorrect number abet and now it is impossible to get through to them. This is disgusting. Crap product crap company! -10 stars if possible!!!
OMG Disgusting Customer Service
OMG
I thought that Sharp might come good if I showed up their awful customer service, but seeing all the bad reviews they obviously could not care less.
I have just bought a flatbed microwave. Love the look and will probably love the product once I can use it. The specs say it comes with a user manual( obvious I would have thought) but not in the box. After two phone calls and pointing out it is advertised as coming with a manual, they will only send one if I pay £11 for it !!!!!!!!!
No way . They now say Amazon advertised it incorrectly but Amazon did not write the “ included in the box” specification.
Sharp now want me to email them with a link to Amazon( at 80 I don’t know how to send a link ) so they can “ escalate it.”
All I want is a user manual for their product as difficult for me to keep having to download online manual.
Come on Sharp, how about a bit of old fashioned customer service ????
