SHAYN Failed on Quality, Service & Refund – Complete Disaster
I ordered a ring from SHAYN in December 2025, and this has easily been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.
Let’s start with the product itself — the **quality was unacceptable**. The ring began discoloring in a very short time, which clearly shows poor material or finishing. This is not something you expect from a brand claiming to sell quality jewellery.
I requested a replacement as per their policy, and they arranged a pickup. After that, things turned into a complete mess. I was later told that the **courier was “lost”**, which already raises serious concerns about how they handle returns.
What followed was months of frustration:
* Most of the time (**around 70%**) there was **no response at all** on calls or emails
* When they did respond, it felt like they were **intentionally dragging the issue** with no real intention to resolve it quickly
* I had to constantly chase them just to get basic updates
After all this unnecessary back-and-forth, I finally received a refund in March — **months later**. And even then, the refund was **not full**. They deducted taxes, meaning I actually **lost money despite returning a defective product**.
So effectively, I paid for:
* a low-quality product
* months of stress
* poor customer service
* and a partial refund
This is completely unacceptable.
From product quality to after-sales support, everything about this experience reflects **poor standards, lack of accountability, and disregard for customers**.
I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from SHAYN — **either avoid it entirely or be prepared to deal with serious issues if something goes wrong**. This was a costly and frustrating lesson I won’t repeat.
