Pen was a retirement gift 9 years ago. The clip has broken off. The pen came with a lifetime warranty, worthless. This was the email

“Following your email, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide specific information regarding the product in question, as it has been discontinued and the spares are no longer available to replace it.

Please be assured that if the product or its spare parts are reintroduced in the future, we will do our best to inform you or offer the most suitable available options.”

I’ve not read the small print but LIFETIME WARRANTY, not worth the paper it’s written on.

A damaged shipment has been delivered and now the company is not arranging a refund or replacement.

Sceaffer do not honour warranties and do not service their own flagship gold pens. I purchased a set of 3 14k gold pens that were sold with a limited lifetime warranty... A warranty excluding damage from misuse and abuse etc. One of the gold pens has failed and they will it service it now as they say it's classed as vintage... It is 30 years old but the last time I looked a lifetime was classed as 2 score and 10 years. Ie 70 years....that is according to the Bible. Today's life expectancy is significantly longer yet they still will not honour the warranty. I will never buy another schaeffer product again. I am a pen collector and have spent many thousands on their pens over the years. I am now selling my collection and boycotting this company.
