Poor Customer Service Experience

I’ve been buying from Shein for years, and I’ve never had a problem with returns, until now. I sent a combined return which is showing as being delivered to their warehouse on 10th April, awaiting pickup. It is still awaiting pickup, as of today, 13th May. I’ve tried to phone customer services, but I get disconnected after a few minutes. The live chat is completely useless, it’s a robot, and is no help at all.
How do I get my refund ? I’ve lost faith, and will not buy from Shein again.

Faulty Return System and Unfair Refund Refusals

Very disappointed with SHEIN’s return and refund system. This is now the second issue I’ve had with them.

Last year, they refused to refund the full amount I paid because I had used a discount code, which makes no sense, because the discounted price was still the full amount I actually paid.

Now I returned bikini bottoms that were completely unused because the size was wrong, and they refused my refund claiming the hygiene seal was “damaged.” Their packaging is extremely poor quality, with all items tightly packed together in one bag, so seals can easily bend or move during shipping and returns.

The items were still brand new, but the customer ends up taking the loss because of SHEIN’s faulty system and bad packaging standards.

My advice: never buy bikini bottoms separately from SHEIN if you think you may need to return them, because they will likely refuse your refund.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Said that I hadn't sent an item back so refused to refund. No way of speaking to a human or escalation. Kept on going around in circles. The item was in the same package as the other things I sent back so their warehouse must have mislaid it but they refuse to believe that and have kept my money. Reading other reviews I am not the only one this has happened to. Will never use again. You don't have this problem with TEMU!

Don't waste your money on sub standard items that will be binned if you do at all keep them

*Update, funny how all the reviews below are saying the exact same thing, slightly folded bikini hygiene sticker...

Be careful of this company who will do anything to keep your money!
I ordered a bikini along with other items. Opened the bikini to find the top was way to small and sent it back. Now I am being blamed for the hygiene sticker placement. I did not even take the bottoms out of the bag. The bikini was returned and by chance, I stumbled upon the fact that they blame me for hygiene sticker placement, no message was sent saying they were rejecting the return. They are now keeping the bikini and my money I paid for it. Tried using live chat but just got someone copying and pasting the same statement over and over. "Due to your current inability to provide valid supporting images.
Based on the images available from the warehouse, we have confirmed the product issue and, consequently, are unable to process your refund. We fully understand your concerns. If you encounter any quality issues with the products you receive in the future, please contact us immediately, and we will do our utmost to assist you."

Returned Swimwear, No Refund!!…

Returned a bikini that didn't fit and they said i couldn't have a refund as hygiene strip was missing, which it wasn't. I didn't even try the bottoms on as the top didn't fit. I notice a lot of other people have had this same issue and totally agree with them. Shein are scamming people and I will never order from them again. Beware if you order from them.

They have gone down I have ordered from them before just before my birthday they decided to refund my order for whatever reason either items are cheap so why so much stress to get cheap items not amused at all .It happen yesterday I am very angry I ordered these items for my birthday!!!!since two weeks ago if my reordered items don't arrive I will stop using your company standards have gone down I have always received orders why now an order was refunded and refused and spend the same money again I should not have to spend the same money again.Poor customer service

Useless!!

Useless!!! Completely the wrong item delivered. Tried to get a refund, was told that once they had received the incorrect item and they had determined if they were satisfied that the item was the correct one (the irony 🙄) and not damaged they may refund. For the cost of the item, it was more trouble to return .. I told them to just forget it!

Shein scam

Shein use Evri for delivery. Evri driver ripped open my parcel and stole everything except one item. Sellotaped it up and delivered it. Shein class this as completed . After some back and forth a refund was given by Shein. Thank you. Please do not use Evri anymore

I ordered items and they did not Turn up and was refused a refund

I ordered items and they did not turn up, contacted customer services and they said could not refund items that did not arrive and if they arrived could request a return. In the mean while I was out of pocket, no items as could not return what had not arrived. Customer services were mainly computers and did not help with actual issues. Generally a poor service and if I could would give zero stars.
Well done team shien, gold meddle for terrible service.

Poor quality and poor customer service

I have never had an issue before in returning swimwear but two swimwear items that just didn’t fit well that I returned and they claim they won’t give me a refund because of the hygiene stickers, which from the picture they have clearly folded slightly on the edge from folding said item and repackaging. Their stickers are the quality issue and it’s really frustrating! When wanting to raise it higher they just ended the chat!

Make sure you do not buy underwear or swimwear out if shein they say that sanitary slip is not intact and refuse refund. OR make sure you take photo to prove it is before returning. Con you out of money otherwise.
