I’ve recently had multiple issues with SHEIN, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Firstly, one of my orders, worth £85, was delivered by Evri and left on my doorstep in broad daylight while I was not at home. The parcel was clearly stolen, yet neither Evri nor SHEIN offered any form of compensation or resolution. I paid for items I never received, which is completely unacceptable.
Secondly, I placed a large order and returned 13 items. While SHEIN processed refunds for 10 of them, they are claiming that 3 items were never received at their warehouse. I returned everything in the same package, so it makes no sense that some items were processed and others were not. It has now been nearly two months, and I am still waiting for a resolution or refund for these missing items.
Customer service has been extremely frustrating. I keep receiving the same automated responses, often from a different agent each time, with no real progress being made. The issue was first raised on 22/03, and since then I have gotten nowhere. There is no clear communication, no accountability, and no way to speak to someone directly to resolve the issue.
I have followed all return instructions and fulfilled my responsibility by packaging and sending back the items as required under their policy. At this point, the responsibility lies with SHEIN to investigate and resolve the issue on their end. It is unreasonable to expect me to keep verifying information for items I no longer have in my possession.
Overall, this experience has been appalling. I have never had problems with SHEIN before, but recently the service has significantly declined. At this point, it feels like I am being ignored and left out of pocket.
All I am asking for is a fair resolution and a refund for the items I returned and not to keep getting fobbed off by the same below automated message it seems:
“Hello,
Thank you for contacting SHEIN, we hope this message finds you well. We truly understand your concern and we apologize for this inconvenience.
We have carefully reviewed the situation, and currently the returned items are not registered in our warehouse. Therefore, we are unable to process your refund request. Please check that the information regarding the returned items is accurate.Thank you for your understanding“

Terrible customer service - wont take responsibility when things go wromg
Had two parcels worth over £300 go missing because of evri - tried to get in contact with shein via the in app customer service and by the telephone number thats on the website (not that i got through to anyone so whats the point of it even being there when the automated system hands up automatically after 3 minutes of wait time). Neither have been helpful. I have not been able to get my orders reshipped or refunded and no one from shein or evri want to take responsibility and are acting as if im the reason this has happened. I was a loyal customer to shien but this was my final straw

Fraud worthy behaviour
Never previously had any issue with Shein, returned various items without issue over the years. 2 items from my most recent order were refused a refund stating defective (or other words to that effect). Both items were unworn, tried on for a moment and placed back in their bags for return. I received a notification with several blurry images, one item zoomed to the max showing what I can only describe as a piece of fluff, and the second showing a line of what looks like dust. I can see in the background of the image the warehouse desk which looks filthy. Had I damaged the items, I'd accept that, but these items were unworn and returned in the same condition they were delivered. This appears to be a new and blatant attempt from shein to create issues to retain refunds. Id now warn anyone to mark all items as defective when returning if there is one thread loose, one piece of fluff etc - as this is now how they seem to operate. I requested for the items to returned back to me (with myself covering postage) to see the 'damage' for myself - customer service continue to refuse which is suspicious in itself.
Edit to add further update. Continued back and forth with customer service, receiving generic responses that don't deal with any of the complaint, no further details given, no confirmation that the items can be returned to support the dispute investigation.

Shein has blocked my account
I had a previously good experience with Shein, however, after ordering a large amount of items for a holiday in July 2025 and returning some as they did not fit. When I tried to order others, I found that they blocked my account, without good reason. I have now reverted to other sites.

I did the work myself and got the courier, Relay, to admit in writing that they delivered my parcel to a completely WRONG address in the SE13 area, rather than my own.When I took this proof to live chat, an agent named Kane tried to palm me off back to the same email team that has been ignoring me for 2 weeks. Before I could even protest, the chat was ended and locked, leaving me with no way to reply. They are literally hiding behind technicalities and "time limits" to avoid fixing a mistake their own courier admitted to.I don't want a refund—I want the items I paid for. I am requesting an immediate RESHIPMENT of these T-shirts to my correct address. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act, SHEIN is responsible for the delivery until it reaches me. Be careful of these lot they sent my order in 2 separate deliveries I received 1 item out of £122 worth of clothing and when I received parcel number 1 with 1 item in it I kept being prompted to mark it as delivered! So I did, and the second half of my parcel with the rest of my items in that were worth over £100 were lost and not received my end! So I put in for a refund and they’re now refusing to refund me as it’s marked as delivered! Due to them scamming me into marking parcel number 1 as delivered!! So iv now gone to my bank to claw it back! I have the whole conversation screen shotted of me telling them on the day that I hadn’t received the second parcel that was marked as delivered by the courier so you aren’t getting away with scamming me out of a refund! Don’t prompt your customers every 5 mins to mark their deliveries as received until both packages are delivered!! Or better yet send our delivery all in one package! You’re scamming your customers and it’s not on!!

I am writing to share my recent experience regarding a change in the return policy at Shein, as I want to make others aware of how it might affect their refunds.
I have previously been a frequent customer, often ordering multiple sizes to find the best fit. However, I have recently discovered that if you use a discount voucher at checkout and decide to return only a portion of your order, Shein now deducts the discounted amount from your refund. This means you do not receive a full refund for the individual items returned unless you return the entire order.
I contacted customer service to complain about this, but they informed me that they cannot return the full amount because a discount was applied. I found the interaction quite disappointing and felt the policy was handled in a way that was not customer-friendly.
Because of these changes to the terms and conditions, I have decided to stop shopping there and wanted to warn others to check the refund details carefully before placing an order.
