Wyndham is the WORST

We have been Shell owners at Vino Bello in Napa, CA for over 15 years. We used to love Shell and the people that worked there, ever since Wyndham bought them, there has been problem after problem. First a computer glitch messed up our points and said we didn't have any available when we did and then deducted points from the next year and by time they fixed it the points were expired. Then they messed up our maintenance fees two years in a row and sent to collections so we couldn't use our points. Just this month I made a reservation and used an upgrade token to get a bigger room and the rep told me it was done but when I went in to make another reservation, I noticed it was not done and I called and they said oh we don't allow upgrades at that resort and now there is no availability to make another reservation. Every time you call, you get the run around and no real help. Most of the people that answer the phone are nice enough but they can't do anything to fix the problems that Wyndham creates. My husband has wanted to ditch this timeshare ever since Wyndham bought them and now I agree. Everything is overpriced and not worth the cost. You can find an Air BNB cheaper in most locations.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A BUNCH OF CHEATS!

I would give a 0 if possible. We are deeded members of Shell Vacations for the last 15 years. They were a good outfit until Wyndham bought them. Now it is the proverbial sh*tshow. The properties have gone down hill. We stayed at the one in Wisconsin over the summer. Not only was our condo dirty, the employees were not the least bit nice. Now for the financial problem ~ when Wyndham bought out Shell, we never received our bill for the yearly maintenance fees. Without a bill, it's a little difficult to pay. Then the scamdemic came along and still no invoices from Shell. At the same time, Wyndham was offering Shell owners a deal for their timeshare. No one from Wyndham ever contacted us ~ we were lost in the shuffle. We finally contacted Shell to see what we owed regarding the maintenance fees. They informed us that they had a glitch in their system when Wyndham took over. That is the reason they gave for not invoicing us. Then they proceeded to tell us that they had turned us over to collections. They never tried to contact us nor did they ever invoice us. Suddenly we are in collections and can't use any of the properties. After months and months of fighting with them, we paid all of the maintenance fees and were supposedly good through the end of 2023. That was in April of 2023 (it's taken that long) and now as of this writing, we are somehow past due again. I don't know who is running the show but it is totally unprofessional and not consumer friendly at all. If Wyndham truly owns Shell, they either need to fold Shell and take on Shell members or let us all go. It is pathetic the way this is run. Never seen anything like it ~ I truly believe Shell has become a shady company and are out to cheat all their members. Sad but true!

30 Years of ownship - Never did we miss a payment

BUYER BEWARE - Continuation NOTICE

Orange Tree Golf Resort a Wyndham property:
This is dated May 6, 2024, one year later after the Administrative failure reported below.

We have owned for 30 years and never have missed a annual fee. This your 2024 I get a notice from Pinnacle Collection stating I owe money. They had my address, but I was told that Orange Tree did not have my address? Never had a problem getting bills for 30 years but did this year?

Talk to 7 people over the course of 1.5 hours on the phone. No resolve. I own the maintenance fee, there is no question. I owe it to Orange Tree not some company called Pinnacle Collections.

Wrote Pinnacle an email on May 1 - as of today May 6 no response??????

Orange Tree representatives; Tanisha, and Luna both said, "we must of had a glitch in our system"?

No resolve as of this message.

No week for 2024, but I do have a collection notice.
STAY AWAY from this Resort and Wyndham organization.

We have been deeded owners at Orange Tree Gold Resort for 30 years. Last Aug 2022, we paid our fees to procure the week of Feb 10 - 17, 2023 (Superbowl) week.

We sold the week for 1200.00 and requested our name be updated on the reservation, they could not do it and blamed it on a computer issue and opened up a service ticket eight days ago.
They have told me I can change my week and come in later but then tell me nothing is available.??

FEES and WEEK out the window. BUYER BEWARE.

I have asked for a manager to speak too and everybody must be a manager?

I have ask for an exception since it was Shell's system failure, and they will not be even considered.

One CSR even told me to join Interval International and deposit it with them? What?

I have dealt with ZELL, Ebony, Darlene etc in the Scottsdale AZ office an no one can help.
What a smoke and mirrors racket they have going.
