Employees caused stress with misinformation

Shield Healthcare was the first pharmacy recommended to me by Medi-CalRx and the pharmacy employee I spoke to on the phone confirmed that they took my insurance. She set up an account for me and told me to have my prescriptions sent over via PrimeRx.

Right after I called the clinic and asked them to send the prescriptions, I received a call from Shield Healthcare saying they were mistaken when they said they took my insurance and could not fill prescriptions for me.

Because this happened at end of business day on Friday, I could not call the clinic until Monday and it caused me a lot of stress and wasted time trying to resolve the situation. More than a week later, I found another pharmacy who reliably delivers prescriptions to my home.

Then I started getting multiple text messages from Shield Healthcare urging me to refill my prescriptions through them.

I believe the employees I dealt with on October 24 were misinformed about how the insurance coverage worked. Their lack of organization caused me a lot of stress and delayed access to medication. I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

Taking way too long

They took over a month to get things moving. I have pain in my shoulder and am barely sleeping and finally after taking forever to do so I was able to get an appointment. Literally the day of (and mind you it took over a month for the appointment) they cancel it a few hours before it. Now it should be fun to see how long it takes to get a new appointment.

Customer service representative name…williana

Customer service representative name Williana is so professional and very helpful and lots of patience I was confused trying to explain something about my order and paperwork she was so patient and respectful explained everything to me and I’m already overwhelmed with my son’s medical condition she made me feel so at ease to where I understood everything and now I know what I have to do every month we need more people like her on the phones people are so quick to say bad things but want act knowledge the good service six stars to her not five she deserves an extra one

CONTACTED THIS COMPANY AND THEIR REP IN MY AREA.... WHAT A JOKE ....... I'M STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THESE CLOWNS.
PEOPLE CONTACTING THIS COMPANY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NEEDS FOR THEIR PRODUCTS; YET THE EXPERIENCE IS UNNECESSARILY DIFFICULT, HUMILIATING AND COMPLETELY FRUSTRATING. PLZ READ ON GOOGLE REVIEW AFTER REVIEW AFTER REVIEW THAT SHOWS A CONSISTENT PATTERN OF DISREGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. THEY EVEN HAVE EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE WRITTEN HORRIBLE THINGS ABOUT THEM..... CURRENT AND FORMER EMPLOYEES!
RUN FAST AND HARD TO ANOTHER COMPANY.... ONE THAT APPRECIATES YOUR BUSINESS.

To be avoided at all costs

As a company that ships urgent daily medical supplies, Shield Healthcare should be avoided at all costs. A shipment I should have received on 12-8 has been delayed now to 12-14. The representative and supervisor I spoke with were unsympathetic and unwilling to help, and it was like pulling teeth to get a message to upper management. If you have a choice, do not use Shield Healthcare. UPDATE: Shield continues to do a subpar job of getting supplies to its customers. They make excuse after excuse. I am forced to use them unfortunately. But if you have choice--don't!
