A positive experience with a returned product!

I recently bought a mouse for my ageing mac desktop computer. Despite thoroughly checking the requirements stated in order for this mouse to be suitable, and consulting Amazons A.I. (which I previously had abhorred!) the product did not work on my computer. Amazon took the item back WITHOUT HASSLE and refunded the full amount within a few days! Despite years of negative experiences with Amazon I am amazed at the efficiency shown with this transaction! PRAISE IS HEREBY GIVEN FOR SUCH UNUSUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THANK YOU!

Order No. 204-2693306-8727512 Cancelled, Why?????

Usually Amazon are pretty good when it comes to deliveries. On this occasion they tried twice to deliver and called me on both occasions because a password was needed. The package was due to be delivered tomorrow Sunday 12/4/26 when I would be at home ( This date was allocated by Amazon). I explained this to the driver that called yesterday and he said he would arrange for it to delivered on Sunday. I then received another call today trying to redeliver, I explained that I was at work and it was supposed to be delivered tomorrow when I would be at home. He promptly hung up on me and cancelled the order sighting item unable to be delivered. First of all, they are supposed to try x3 times not x2 and now I'm stuck without the order I've been waiting x2 weeks for. Please take note amazon and redeliver tomorrow as I'm very disapointed with this very poor service. Don't ask me to reorder because the same deal is no longer available!!!
Just spoke with amazon who told me tough, I'd have to reorder, no apology, didn't seem to care about my annoyance or even bother to apologise!!!

Amazon has gone right down the crapper.

Since Christmas 2025 I have noticed a massive decline in their customer service, delivery etc. I am a prime member and expect to get what I pay for.

Too often now, I have placed orders for next day delivery and they do not, Amazon like to blame it on the carrier's they use.

I was put thought to at least five people to try and the item cancelled and refunded as the late delivery I would not be home for days to accept it. Amazins fault not mine.

I was put through to CHANAL /CHANAI however you spell it, she was useless. Meant to be from the management team. She terminated the chat when I typing my reply. I have never known CS like it, she should not be in this role. Poor skills to say the list

Terrible Delivery Service.

I ordered over £60 of goods to enable me to get same day delivery as it was important they arrived the same day. They never arrived, I was then given a slot of 7 am to 11 am today, they never arrrived and now it is going to be after 6-30 pm tonight.

Amazon themselves started this new ruling, order over a certain amount to get same delivery or pay £1.99 delivery charge if it is under a certain amount and they cannot even keep to their own rules.

I have now waited in two days as I need these items urgently. Their delivery is getting worse and worse, they give you a time but never stick to it and all they say is sorry for the inconvenience, it will be an inconvenience to them if people stopped shopping with them due to this poor service. I used to order every day but got so fed up of orders not being delivered until late evening, who wants to open your door at 9 pm in the dark to someone delivering parcels especially when they were promised for the morning or early afternoon.

Sorry Amazon, I can do much better at Temu and Shein. I know delivery takes longer but at least they turn up when they say they will and also, they are much cheaper than you.

Customer service is really poor

Customer service is really poor. You either get a Robot or a Call Centre in the far east. They promise the lathe "you can trust me" they tell you, but nothing happens, it just goes on and on and on!!

Sold Supposably Stainless Steel…

Sold Supposably Stainless Steel Plasters Trowels however on receiving the trowels I checked with a magnet and all are magnetic thus not "Austenitic Stainless Steel" no grade of stainless is indicated on the any of the tools these grade must be either Ferritic, Martensitic, Duplex, Precipitation-hardening , are magnetic thus will rust. Not possible to contact I Amazon feel this is sharp practice and misleading just stating Stainless Steel when in fact they cannot claim singularly Stainless but must show a Grade of Stainless steel, as except norm is that Stainless does not rust. Never buy a gift card direct from Amazon…


Update: Money refunded in full, but will buy gift cards from Tesco in future, not direct from Amazon!

Never buy a gift card direct from Amazon. Bought one for £50 to give to a friend and it didn’t deduct the amount from her order, Amazon refuse to refund as they say the card has been redeemed inspite of the fact that it did not deduct the £50 from her order. The most embarrassing gift I have ever given!

Beware of Stock Photography

I like Amazon, I have Prime so get free deliveries on most items, on average I have three deliveries a week so I consider myself to be a loyal customer. However recently I ordered a DIY item and on arrival whilst looking similar was not right for the job. The actual photo on Amazon’s site was a stock one. This has also occurred with another item. I am now awaiting a replacement and hope this time it fits. Amazon needs to make sure the items on their site match the description and photo.

They always say it was handed to resident when it never is. It is put in wood shed but even if we're in they don't knock the door. Perhaps they are all over worked and are delive too many parcels.

Amazon make impossible too complain

Amazon make impossible too complain, I have an ongoing refund issue with them and their customer service based in India is useless tney just waste your time. This time I decided too go direct too their head office, looking up the email address for complaints I submitted my complaint detailing every issue. Finally I posted my email which was bounced back with thee usual " this address does not accept incoming emails !
This is the address given when I looked online .
Amazon now make it almost impossible for the customer too contact them outide of their useless Indian customer service.

Package finally arrived Friday when opened it contained pens, a diary and pediasure powder. Clearly opened and resealed. They highlight the fact there’s expensive goods inside by asking the driver to take a password on delivery - maybe DBS check the thieves you call drivers

Bought some key rings from WWmily on…

Bought some key rings from WWmily on Amazon UK for delivery today, using Prime. Thought I’d check the tracking to see when it would arrive and now it says Monday! Desperately needed these this weekend as we leave Monday morning.

Called Amazon CS, who said that I ‘should’ve checked my email or order after ordering to check the REAL shipping date’?! I told them how ridiculous that was as the item states that it will be delivered the next day, so why would I then check an email for a different date?! They couldn’t answer this and just said the same thing again. VERY frustrating. What’s the point of Prime shipping if it cannot be trusted?

Amazon has done nothing but lie about delivery times refuse to refund faulty items and the company in general can no longer be trusted as reputable. In a recent call to a returns manager named Ali he stared mocking me singing alice in wonderland and making racist remarks towards me and totally refused to co operate accusing me of trying to keep a fault item and get a refund !!! I tried to report him but they all stick together so I will never use Amazon again dishonest fraud company who stole over £200 of my money and left a 7 year old with no birthday present truly disgusting company to be avoided at all costs !!!

Amazon used to be a good option

Amazon used to be a good option, but now I try to avoid them.

They’ve got a delivery service that makes Evri look competent. The driver just throws my parcel near the door after making up all sorts of lies.

I say in the delivery notes, please put in the shed. Ignored.

Do they knock the door or press my doorbell? Nope! They just chuck and run.

Are they honest on the delivery descriptions? No. Handed to customer. I don’t think so! They just chuck and run without even pressing the bell.

There are still alternatives to Amazon, I’m going to start using them more.

Unable to fix incorrect delivery location

I recently moved house and now at my new location Amazon keep delivering my packages to the right street and village but to the wrong house. I have spent several hours trying to get them to do something about this but this seems like the impossible task and they have no way of correcting this. If someone from Amazon UK sees this then it would be great to hear back about how to fix this. I buy hundreds of items from Amazon each year but I'm going to have to stop uness this is resolved. Surely they can fix this simple issue? I have seen some suggestion there is a IT system which gives them the physical location on a Sat Nav - perhaps this is set to the wrong location and the cause of the error? This must be costing Amazon but they just dont seem able to do anything other than offer a refund. Help!
