UNFAIR WORK ENVIRONMENT

They permanently deactivated my account due to low staffing at the Target I was shopping at causing me to be late on my deliveries. They even have a “late forgiveness” form and it didn’t matter. I was a preferred shopper for customers, worked diligently on making sure I was careful and efficient with my deliveries and they terminated my position. There is no late forgiveness and this is a poor company to work for.

They don't care.....you got to be PERFECT!!

It's like this company expects you to be perfect! My overall rating was above 90% but because my last 50 orders on-time rating literally just fell a little under 90%..they cut me like that...with $$ still sitting on my account! Won't even respond to my appeal or anything! I loved shopping for Shipt, had several preferred who listed me as preferred shopper and now just cut just like that! Life happens you know, no one is perfect...and WE'LL SEE IF my money hits next week like they said!!!

I drove for this company and had 1…

I drove for this company and had 1 complaint out of 50 deliveries and they took me off as a driver and didn't receive all my pay. No chance for explanation opportunity from me. Very disappointed as I loved doing this job but they are very unsupportive of their drivers

SHIPT is a rip off company

SHIPT is a rip off company with no character.
Here is my horror story.
I got a GIFT membership as a white elephant gift last year for Christmas at work. I’m sure the lady who gave it meant well. She leads a busy life and I get that some use service like this to get it all done like groceries etc.
But for me this was a terrible experience all the way around. Poor drivers, wrong orders , etc., so after only using the GIFT I got; I long ago made the decision. I was never going to use them again and I wasn’t really worried about it since it was a GIFT membership I got from my company and I never signed any paperwork or anything so I didn’t think anything of it.
Until today I got a text from my bank that SHIPT took $99 out of my account for my “"annual membership fee". This is the same thing that I was given as a GIFT that I never signed up for that I never signed anything for but they were real quick to take that 99 bucks out of my account so I called them, wouldn’t you?
I spent the last 22 minutes probably entertaining everybody in the Joanne’s store that I’m sitting in right now. It took 21 minutes and three different reps (2 very clearly overseas based on language barrier) with God only knows how many stupid scripts to get them to cancel my membership and refund my money. Unfortunately, volume was needed to get my point across, hence the other shoppers' entertainment.
Now here’s the punchline guys, they can come take your money apparently without any authorization to do so in an instant, but according to SHIPT , they’ll refund my money in 5 to 10 BUSINESS DAYS. There’s something very wrong with that my friends.
Now I do use some services, LOVE HEB curbside for example but also I think all of these other services (SHIPT) are a sign of conspicuous consumption on the part of all of us who we just can’t be bothered to get out and deal with each other anymore so we just use one of the services and the next thing you know you wondering why you can’t pay your electric bill for all the annual memberships not to mention the Land of the Fees that come with using these services.
And people remember this is the month of December. I get paid every 2 weeks. Barely a paycheck left before Christmas.
Ask yourself, could your budget take this if it happened to you? I am fortunate and mine could. so, I was not stuck in Joanne's with a cart full of Christmas stuff and my money stolen by SHIPT.
Think about it. I’m literally in a store buying stuff to make Christmas gifts when I get a text from my bank saying SHIPT debited an annual membership fee FOR DARN NEAR A HUNDRED DOLLARS onto my GIFT.
It took me 22 minutes and all I have are false promises. I have yet to see a dime.
SHIPT is a horrible service. Now you have heard my horror story, use them at your own risk because IMHO they SUCK!

Good luck with Shipt

Good luck. I'm not sure what made Best Buy use Shipt to deliver anything but apparently Shipt considers a package considered "delivered successfully" by leaving it outside of my apartment building on a public sidewalk of a busy street. Unsurprisingly, my package is now missing. It’s possible the driver just took a photo and kept the package. Good luck with this service.

I ordered tomato plants from shipt…

I ordered tomato plants from shipt which I set to pick up at a grocery store. Went there to pick up, 5 minutes before pickup it said my order had to be rescheduled. So I couldn't get them that day. Set it up to pick up 4 days later, same thing happened. Customer service was not helpful and the third time I tried to pick them up got another message saying they were out of stock. Huge waste of time and a bad application.

My package been picked up since 1:41pm from bestbuy it’s 7pm were I live no update or anything I don’t understand why Best Buy used they service. I will never buy from Best Buy again as long as they use they service because they service is not good at all it doesn’t tell you anything about tracking it just say it been picked up I have a job to I can’t sit up all night waiting for a package to come

Thieves!

I had canceled my Shipt account months ago and had been paying monthly. I just was notified by my bank that Shipt charged me $99 on my credit card that I had used for my monthly subscription that they obviously kept on file. I tried calling them but I grew a beard while I was on hold, and I finally gave up. I called my bank and they said that the $99 (fraudulent) charge was still pending. They told me that as soon as the charge posted, I should call the bank and file a dispute. Let the immoral thieves deal with the bank. I recommend that nobody should even consider using them. This could happen to any one of you.

I’ve had more bad experiences than good…

I’ve had more bad experiences than good ones. I have a Target Shipt membership and canceled my renewal after using it for only a month. Deliveries are usually delayed and not all shoppers communicate out of stock items for me to choose a substitute. I would not recommend.

I ordered from Best Buy

I ordered from Best Buy, I got a message when it was going to be delivered. I looked at the tracking and it said it was delivered, but I never got the product. Called Shipt and they could not help me and told me to call Best Buy. Thank God they were able to do my order and I will pick it up in-store.

ShipT doesn't deliver

I used this service through Target. I was sent a text link to keep track of driver. She was always 54 minutes away, when the store is literaly 15 miles away. I was sent a text that my order would be delivered 8-9pm. I received a text at 1045pm that it was delivered with a picture. The picture isn't my house, I text back telling her she delivered to the wrong house. I was told to contact corp, which I did, I was then told to call Target. Target wont help me either. This company doesn't vet their employees. Clearly she didn't do her job. And Im out $400 and two christmas presents.

I placed an order two days in advance…

I placed an order two days in advance and still have not received it. Keep getting messages that it will arrive in the next time slot but how am I supposed to believe such an unreliable company. The dinner l ordered for is now ruined because of them. They should really learn about how schedules in a delivery service should work. Don't schedule something you can't follow up on. It's amazing they are still in business.

They're awful

They're awful. My shopper got all the way through checkout ran all my information and then either shipt or Meijer themselves cancel my order. I call customer service for shipt and one they were impossible to understand due to their accent and two they were literally no help and just told me to reorder. What about all the coupons I had used for meijer? I had a couple buy one get one free items that I'm not going to be able to get again. Reassured me that I'll have my refund which of course will be what in 5 to 7 days just like everything else and now with it being almost Thanksgiving I expect it to take even longer. My shopper is great she did her very best and she was going above and beyond to communicate the problems with me. But the company itself is garbage.

Dont Waste Your Time with Them!

This company is a joke. When I was working for them they were sending me orders to do around rush hour time knowing that it was a lot of traffic and not providing me enough time to get to the destination on time. I was getting outstanding compliments along with a lot of tips from the customers and the company did not even take that into consideration. I also had alot more of ON-Time orders than late orders and they seem to not acknowledge that either!!! They suspended my account and that was not fair! They are FULL OF SHIT

I just found out I was deactivated permanently today because I didn't meet the
"on time" standards. I was still working as a shopper last week and thought nothing of it.
I'd understand if customers give big complaints regarding being late for few minutes at a time. Shipt doesn't understand the pain that shoppers consistently get with add on orders for some customers and using lots of time for the long winded communication with the customers. The weak Wifi In the stores delay the process even further. And to spend more than 15-30 minutes time to try and find the customers apartment in many huge complexes is very nerve wracking for trying to be on time. Not to say many customers don't answer their calls and leave me hanging for minutes and have delayed me to be on time. The added steps to make sure it's delivered also takes time when there's no network reception in majority of apartment complexes. I wish SHIPT's "on time" standards can be more lenient for shoppers. We work hard to satisfy the customers needs but overall it's the company who decides who they choose to let go. I had good ratings of overall 4.86. I often go above and beyond looking for items not on the shelves. To substitute items also takes extra time. This feels like a slap on my face for working hard for this company and customers. I love the opportunity to serve others but this type of corporate decision is sucks

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered an item that went half price the next day! I paid 43 dollars after tip and delivery for an item that was 15 dollars the next day! They were unwilling to help! No one time courtesy. No order number so I could get a price match from the vendor! Absolutely useless!

Person who shopped was not the person who Shipt said was the shopper

This was the second time when the name and photo of the shopper did not match with the person who actually did the shopping. This is a safety matter and Shipt blew me off when I called.
It's also a matter of the quality of the shopping. I ordered 7 bananas. Instead I got 7 bunches of bananas. There were so many more problems with the order that I think the person who did the shopping had no clue about what they were doing.
If you rate the shopper 1 or 2 you won't get them again (maybe).
