MEMBER OF STAFF THINK SHE IS A BOUNCER

This person follows my mother and myself everytime we enter the shop. We spend a great deal of money with this company! This person must think people who are black are thieves. Its just that there are always other customers in the shop, and she focuses on us all the time! By the time she has watched us, others could be stealing. As soon as we went to return some shoes and purchase some more, she was at the till, behind her colleague who was already serving us. She said you cannot return these shoes, because you don't have the box. I told her we were never given the box, as we did not want it. Why were we not told at the time we needed the box. Her colleague said don't worry. She continued with the transaction. We exchanged the items. She could see how rude her colleague was! She is a rude, unprofessional person. She should not be in customer service! I have been waiting for management to get back to me, so as to speak to me in person. We have had a standard email apology. This is personal. It made my elderly mother very upset! You think they would have sent a bouquet of flowers to us both as an apology. We were made to feel so unwelcome in the shop! In this day and age, we should be treated like any other customer!

INCORRECT SIZES IN PACK

ordered online over a year ago and only just opened the boots to find one size 7 and one size 4!!!
no help from customer service as over a year - even though it's a warehouse packing fault & not me wanting to return

Worst Company to deal with

If I could possibly give no stars I would. I had to return a pair of faulty trainers belonging to my husband after just 6 weeks. I had emails from 5 different reps and initially was refused a refund but persevered and then got my refund of £29.99. I was told to send return tracked which cost £10.35 but told I would only get £2.99 back which of course I did not receive. As their stores are closed in my town and nearby towns I had no alternative but to use email. I certainly will not be buying any further products from Shoe zone and I have emailed them to this effect.

aggressive and rude staff

I went into the Llandudno store today - the woman working there is absolutely horrible.

There was no sign to say dogs aren’t allowed (if there is I didn’t see it) and so I walked in with my dogs. The man said no dogs allowed, which is fine. My kids had ice lolly’s and we needed shoes for my 3 year old so I asked them to wait outside while I got some shoes for her to try. I was genuinely trying to be considerate, I wanted to buy from your shop without her coming in with the lolly and dripping it.

I got 2 sizes of the same shoe, my daughter tried them on near the front door and one pair fit perfect. She didn’t want to take them off so I took the smaller pair to the till and said “can I pay for these, my daughter is wearing the ones we are keeping though”.

The man from before was there and a woman with blonde hair in her 50s. She was clearly angry that I had let my daughter keep the shoes I wanted to buy on and said no, I would have to bring the exact ones I want to the till. I said “ok, but she has an ice lolly, is that ok?” And she snapped that it wasn’t ok and I would have to get someone to hold the Lolly.

I can’t tell you how aggressive and nasty she was with me during this exchange, I was really surprised because it was so over the top for the situation. She was talking to me like I was an idiot and she was raising her voice angrily.

I said to her she needed to calm down, she then burst out laughing and denied being aggressive. She said she has to shout loudly because she’s deaf? (Is this even true?) Even though she hadn’t been shouting prior to this when she was talking to her colleague.

Anyway, I left without buying the shoes because she was so hostile. As I left she sarcastically said “have a nice day”. I said she had in fact ruined my day, she snickered with her colleague.

My husband later returned to get the shoes and she told him she was only trying to check that I had chosen the right size shoe to fit my child?

This is nonsense, no shoe shop has ever tried to verify I was buying the right size for my own child. Her insinuation during the initial exchange was that I was doing something suspicious like stealing.

I had no issue with what she needed me to do, it was her manner that was shocking. I just wanted to double check about the lolly and she bit my head off.

Anyway I have now looked at previous reviews for this shop and it looks like she has form for this. When will you do something about this horrible member of staff?

It’s such a shame, because your shoes are lovely and affordable which is why my husband came back. You have lovely products, but awful staff.

wrong size sent

Please get a better warehouse system, my order passed through a few different people and it wasnt picked up that the boots were the wrong size! cant return them as they have been worn so now have a £20 pair of boots that are like new stuck in a cupboard not good Shoezone UP YOUR GAME

DONE TRUST SHOE ZONE

27 August, ordered two pairs of trainers, paid by credit card and was promised delivery by 28th August. Spoke to someone at Shoe Zone who informed me that my delivery was experiencing some problems and I have to wait 48 hours to see if trainers are delivered. Have taken my money but no goods, MODERN DAY THEFT - why did they not tell me by email that there was a problem, why leave it to me to contact them to see where the delivery was.

Shoes not fit for purpose and substandard online service

I bought a pair of sandals online to replace an exact pair that I had previously bought from their shop. The original sandals had only lasted 6 weeks before the ankle strap came away from the sole. After wearing the new replacement pair the strap came away from the sole after only 1 hour. I tried to do a return/refund online to find that I would be paying £2 50 to return as I don't live near a shop. No where is it documented about what to do with a fault, except use the return portal. I contacted them via email , complete with photos of the faulty shoe, and was directed once again to the return portal. I then contacted them via the online help explaining to them that the return portal was not straightforward with a faulty item and, surprise surprise, was directed to the return portal once again. I then sent another email telling them NOT TO DIRECT ME TO THE RETURN PORTAL and thankfully they then submitted the refund with no need to return the item. Shoes that are very poor quality and not fit for purpose and an online system that is not up to standard and very unclear with faulty goods. This should have been a quick straightforward process😭 Extremely disappointed Shoe Zone. Please also note that their free next day delivery service is Royal Mail 24 which only 'aim' to deliver in 24 hours which in reality is 2 days.

Unreliable delivery and haphazard customer services

Despite paying a small additional fee for a particular delivery date the order failed to arrive and therefore was subsequently cancelled. A few days later when the delivery was "unexpectedly" received the problems started. I was told that as a I had already been issued with a refund (which apparently could not be reversed) I now had to return the shoes or take them to a store (Four pairs), which, as they were already in my possession I found ridiculous. It was only after lengthy and frustrating telephone calls (where they were told I was going to write to the CEO) was it agreed that I could actually pay again and keep the product, which I wanted to do in the first instance.

In Summary: Confusing and contradictory information provided by "customer services" for an order which had been cancelled and technically was no longer my responsibility. I would not buy "online" again with this company.
