Most of the shops they portray are scams, thier review process helps these shops appear as legit, STAY AWAY from this app. Sadly I saw all the reviews after I bought from them.

Please, please avoid at all costs (& it will cost you!) Their app is full of scammer purporting to be genuine businesses who either don't have a website &/or don't sell the product you are trying to buy. The old adage 'if it looks to good to be true' definitely applies here. Once you have bought something the link to the seller disappears from the app & contacting SHOP IS AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME & IMPOSSIBLE. How this is allowed to carry on in this day & age is beyond comprehension.
APPALLING EXPERIENCE

Many things order through Shop and ONLY because that is how businesses are requesting payment. The interface is pretty much useless. They NEVER keep me informed of the status of the item. My most recent situation is that I bought and PAID for an item from a business that required payment through Shop and the app is now telling me I need to pay for that item. Shop may be great for businesses but it is terrible for the recipient

I dont know why merchants use this app. They never track anything and even ask you to let them know when something has been delivered. Even now its showing the status as label created when the item was delivered weeks ago.

I ordered a book. I never received it. When I complained about it, I was told to contact the author. What? The charge went through SHOP. $40.00 down the drain. The book was Defiance Til Death. It was all a scam, I guess.

This is a scam save your time,money and your identity go somewhere else do not use shop

Abysmal. I had a ping from my phone that an order had been placed on Shop. It was for a windows laptop that neither myself, wife or children had ordered. The contact number for the merchant wasn't in service and the email address had absolutely nothing to do with midtown electronics. No way to speak to anyone just raise a dispute with the bank. Great. Absolutely appalling. Avoid like the plague.

Useless app. They do not have any customer service so when a company I placed an order through (Duckfeet USA) went bankrupt and never shipped my order FROM DECEMBER, I filed report after report because the company shut down all forms of communication. It served no purpose because when you do, it tells you they just forward it to the merchant and if you have more problems, talk to them directly.

This entire thing is probably just run by bots to harvest your money. $300 down the drain.

Clearly a chinese based scam app which happens to have fooled some legitimate traders into signing up with it as a payment platform. Do not use it and tell any retailer using it that it is a scam site

Checking on Trustpilot there are 258 1 star reviews in 2026 ALONE!!! that's more than two PER DAY.

Surely this tells you all you need to know about this bunch of thieves.

Shop seems to represent and promote scammers. 4 recent orders never received. Companies are in China even though they list US address. They charge credit card immediately and then you have to waste your time trying to get refund. One company does not exist. One order I made was email directly from Shop promoting product. I will no longer order any product that is connected with Shop.

I placed an order and was delivered the wrong items I have an invoice with someone else’s name on it. I reported this to the company and asked for a refund. I sent several emails, left several messages no reply. This company seems hard up on money. My order was no more than $90 and that’s before shipping and handling. They have no responded or sent me my refund. I will never order from them again.

Allows scammers on their platform and doesn't remove them when reported,,, basically scammers allowing scammers to use their platform

Just a little bit ago, I received a Shop notification for a charge of $289.99 from a Shop store called "My Store". This is odd, because I've never ordered ANYTHING or even visited that shop. The date of the transaction is today, April 17, 2026, the order# is 2211, the item fraudulently "purchased" is listed as "McAfee (antivirus plan) for 2 years" For Help? +1 801 346-0938". The Shipping address says, "Dear Customer Order Process Complete, -If Order Not Place By You -Call Customer Support Directly ' +1(801) 346-0938 Long Beach, California 90801 Unites States".

First thing I did was check my bank account to make sure I didn't get fraudulently charged. So far, nothing, which is a good thing, because this scam is aimed at people calling that number to find out why they were being charged, but best believe I'll be checking it every few hours for the next few days.

I called the number for for the heck of it. The gentlemen who answered sounded like he was calling from a call center in India (IYKYK). He told me I had a recurring subscription to McAfee AV (spoiler: I don't and never will use that POS software) and asked me if I wanted to keep it or wanted to request a refund, and if I wanted a refund, all I had to do was supply my checking account information.

I told him to sod off and hung up on him. I then promptly deleted my Shop account, because who knows how much, if any, that account could be compromised.

Oh BTW, when trying to click on the "My Shop" shop in the Shop app, it brings you to a webpage that says, "Something went wrong. What happened? This store is unavailable".

I've lost my faith in Shop as being a trustworthy platform. There were no steps available to prevent such fraud, not 2FA, no confirmation of purchases from unknown stores, etc.

I'd highly advise against using their service.

I've ordered many products that have been reliable, but experience a few problems like orders that I didn't place for keep showing up if I go to a site with shows up as ready to order and I delete t comes back,or I order something very good and site puts in an automatic subscription have to deal with and that's a headache this site has merchants that are not legit and they don't protect you from sites that have suspicious email or non working phone,they to have a better screening of what merchants sell on there shop app,I should've check the reviews on trustpilot before committing, lessons learn

Everything went wrong, did know company I purchased from even used this service. 2nd Shop apparently set up an account i was unaware of and use a wrong address for my default address. 3rd purchasing company never informed me Shop would be involved. 4th, throughout the entire process, I was never given a chance to confirm shipping address. 5th, package delivered to wrong address that was an empty lot, Tried for 3 days to reach a live person with Shop but failed

Rubbish app that offers buyers no support or assistance if there is any problem with orders made through them.

No help whatsoever something doesn’t get delivered. It will take your money. You get no help whatsoever but do not trust shop

I spent over £40 on vinyl records (used). They are reported as delivered I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THAM. I have tried contacting the vendor and Shop but no response from either. DO NOT USE ITS A SCAM !!!!!!

I ordered Polo shirts from a company called Sterling Ford online and thought I was dealing with this company directly! But when I received order confirmation it was titled as Just Gamers and and box containing Track Order via shop. When I tried this it stated I had to download Shop app which I did. This app initially said it had been shipped but I've heard nothing since! I did a chat online ( AI) with shop regarding my order but it suggested I contact Sterling to Ford. When I tried this it comes up link no longer available! Alarm bells are ringing and I feel I have been scammed and lost £49.90.
Please DO NOT ORDER from this company.....total SCAM. I am a pensioner nearing 70 and can I'll afford to lose this money!
